   Oh. My. Lord. What a Sunday evening! My friends and I had the most pleasant time being served by the lovely Holly and Spike. I will 100% make the journey south of the river again to spend even a simple quiet pint. Good pub, great food, exceptional service.

   Good selection of beers, nice garden area out the back. Warm and welcoming atmosphere. Didn't eat (aside from some chips), but the pizzas being made and put into the pizza oven just across from our table looked good.

   Nice and cozy pub & kitchen with great choices of beer, ciders and spirits. The staff was very friendly and the food was great. Not too pricey. Ideal if you’re on a date and find yourself in New Cross Gate or you attend Goldsmiths University.

   Best Sunday roast I've had in ages! Brought my daughter and we are both vegetarian and the Beetroot Wellington was absolutely delicious. The Yorkshire puddings are worth the visit alone! We would love to have tried the desserts but were too full of lovely roast. Will definitely be back!

   Cool place with a massive beer garden. Really good selection of food and pizza. Ingredients seem of quality as well. Went for a pit stop pint and shared a pizza and a portion of triple cooked fries. The only thing I didn’t like (despite it said on the menu) was the tomato sauce with the Salsiccia and Friarielli pizza as I think it’s a pizza that needs a white base (as per tradition).. Aside from that minor detail, we were looked after really well and the table service staff was always around in case we needed something. Food came out pretty quickly.. nice and quirky! Recommended!
