Had a refreshing Diet Coke and lemonade from the pump with ice.

Great, friendly, attitude-free local pub! Sunday live music is great as well as the bingo. Lovely, large garden with great pizzas on offer.

A nice pub, very popular with locals. Very good condition indoors and to got sport. Great beer garden with a BBQ and pizza oven for food options. Very busy out the back with lots of kids running around. Service was very slow and a bit surly.

The Bull have just rang and told me that they’re cancelling my table booked tonight because the football’s on. I reminded her that I specifically asked whether the football was on because and England might be playing and she said “yeah sorry we just didn’t know if England would get through”. Obviously I’m raging about this and there’s no chance I will get a table elsewhere. Boycotting this pub forever more.

This is our local and is very good. Good ales and stuff. Very nice staff. Make us feel welcome. Facilities are fine and the outdoor space is excellent when the weather is good. All new and clean. The pizza place onsite is fabulous too. Overall a very good option locally... A++++

With the Rusty Bucket Pizza oven in the back garden, the pubbing experience is more complete

Popped in after a walk with the dog in oxleas wood. The landlord who, is new made me more than welcome and even fed my dog some dog biscuits after asking!! A big surprise was how big the garden was and also had a fresh wood fired pizza hut, delicious, good selection of ales and larger, will definitely be visiting oxleas more as an excuse to pop into the bull lol

For a local pub it isn't bad, the drinks are reasonably priced and the staff are mostly friendly, however one man can be quite rude (I believe him to be the owner). The decor inside leaves much to be desired and desperately needs a refurb (invest some money in to this Place and it could do very well for its self). The garden is full of mismatch furniture, as others have said, benches contain plenty of splinters and some rusty sharp parts so take care when sitting outside. The plastic furniture could do with replacing or at least jet washing.... However the barrel seats are a nice touch and give a good rustic feel and add some character. The live music can be good, depending on who's Playing and your music preference. It's a shame that no music is offered inside (perhaps consider a jukebox). The outside area has nothing in the way of entertainment for children, unless you count the numerous signs telling children "not to to trample what's rest of the plants".... To be fair we didn't see any plants, none that were so delicate as to be trampled. Dogs are welcome inside and out which is a nice touch. However no water was available for the dog, partly my fault for not asking as it was busy and we don't live far to take him home For A drink. The food (pizza) by the "rust bucket" which is out back in the garden is simply amazing! I have to say the two businesses compliment each other for clientele, but if I am honest the pizza is the soul reason I go to the bull. If you like authentic Italian tasting pizza with a fresh dough and a decent sauce then definitely give it a try! The fact the pizza is made fresh in front of you then fired in a wood oven just adds to the knowledge that you are eating something fresh and authentic. In short: The Bull Pub: Customer service - 3/5. Choice of drinks - 3/5. Price of drinks - 3/5. Decor - 2/5. Outside area - 3/5. Child friendliness - 1/5. Dog friendliness - 4/5. Overall this pub has potential, however currently leaves much to be desired. The Rust Bucket pizza co: Friendliness - 5/5. Quality of food - 5/5. Freshness of food - 5/5. Price 5/5. A must try if you enjoy pizza!
