Went there to unwind after a bike ride and deal with the possibility that I might be pregnant but my husband was there when he was supposed to be in the office. The pub owners did kick me out but after I spend money to get drunk. It’s not a family friendly place also not my fault I embarrassed him in front of his friends. I’ll be back to apologise.

We had the festive menu with bottomless roast potatoes and veg. Half the party were vegan, the other half not so had turkey, but all finished the meal stuffed to the brim. The vegan wellington was lovely (as apparently was the turkey with stuffing and pigs in blankets) and instead of having a portion of veg and roasties on the plate these came on sharing bowls, and there was more than enough for us all (still stuffed hours after the meal!). Great value, great food and great service. If you're able to get to CBT before the end of the festive meal, would 100% recommend. Thanks to team for a wonderful evening.......we would have taken photos of the food, but we were too focused on eating it!

What a lovely pub. The staff were very friendly and the pub was clean and tidy. Loads of space to move around and comfortable seating available throughout plus the normal table and chair options. The Guinness was excellent but there was no ales/bitters available but apparently the Blue Moon Belgian White beer was a very pleasant alternative. Definitely worth a visit.

Great when the kitchen is open and very welcoming staff. A shame the ale taps are no longer in use. Lots of space, lots of screens, a great local

Great selection of drinks, had a gluten free menu for drinks too. Does cocktail deals at certain times. A few different screens dotted about showing sports and a pool table. Prices are very reasonable and lots of seating. Close to the station which is handy and close to the centre. Look out for the food specials too if nothing on the menu jumps out at you. Food menu is your pub favourites with a few others thrown in. Recommended.

Fantastic venue, we came here yesterday for a friends meet up. We all loved the friendly atmosphere, the waiter was very attentive and we got serviced in no time. Food was good, reasonably priced and very large portions! Live sports was playing on the tv, but the football supporters were very nice it adds to the warm atmosphere. The seating area were spacious, because two of my friends had child buggy and it easy to move around. The wait on food was a little long, but this may be due to how popular this place it's! It's worth the wait. All in all, we all had a fantastic time.
