Came here for a Sunday roast and was very impressed. I had the vegetarian cauliflower roast. The portions are big and the prices make it great value! They even offer half portions for half the price if you don't want a full sized meal. I've never seen that offered anywhere else before but it is an excellent idea. It was quite busy, so I would recommend booking in advance on a Sunday.

The best thing is they do half portions of Sunday roasts. Idk why more pubs don't do this as it would encourage people to go out more as it makes it a bit more possible with cost of living pressures for an outing. When booking, it looked like not much is available from 5pm, but when we went, you could have turned up without a booking. I confess on my last visit, I did a full size pork belly and was rather stuffed afterwards. They have an outdoor and conservatory area. It looks lovely. There's usually a bit of a wait at the bar. Staff are friendly. I like coming to The Lord Tredegar because it's got such a chilled vibe and it's off the beaten track.

Best and definitely the hugest Sunday roast I have had in London. We had the pork belly and the mixed meat ones. It has an amazing back garden which is lovely on a sunny day. Vibe is friendly and chilled. Will go back soon!

This is one of the greatest pubs anyone will ever visit, if you're a local you're blessed. In this day & age it's hard to find a great local that is a classic pub, grand in size featuring a cat, and garden. Though understand it's big for a reason as it's a very popular place to have great food and probably the best roast dinner in London, with me now trying to find places that will upstage this pub. For me what makes this place before the food is the staff that work here, calm and very friendly to help you feel relaxed. However the kitchen staff making these dishes are the best kept secret you want to tell everyone about. I recently went up north having a roast, and it couldn't touch what you get at The Lord Tredegar. It's not only the portion size that is perfect and satisfying, but how well everything is cooked and that presentation when a dish is served will have you taking pics to show the world. On the rare occasions I've been in on a different day, let me confirm the food is still amazing and I hope this winning formula remains. Knowing pubs have been dying out for a while, this pub deserves to be protected as it does England and the East End proud. Tell everyone about it, but not too many to ensure you can enjoy a roast on a Sunday!

Very cute pub slightly off the beaten track not too far from Mile End station. Good selection of beers and spirits (which is pretty key) and friendly staff. It's surprisingly big with a cosy front, light rear and quite a large outside area! I had burger and chips...bit too dry for me but chips were good. Overall, still a good pub that I'd happily return to.

Lovely friendly place. The restaurant and garden are lovely. Mixed meat roast and lamb shank roast were beautiful and plentiful!! We all thoroughly enjoyed. Wise to book we had and glad we did as gets very busy....could not fault it...lovely Sunday roast dinner.

We went for a Sunday roast and 100%. They have 2 vegan/vegetarian version, ‘popular’ nuts and cauliflower cheese. I picked the last one and it was just delicious. It has the ‘smokiness’ of the meat roast cover with delicious cheese. It came with a veggie gravy sauce and more roast veggies. We also ordered the chicken roast. If you are not vegan/vegetarian, this is the best option (in my opinion). It is crunchy and soft inside, gravy sauce was delicious and in combination with the roasted veggie = nail it! Good price, good portion and nice place to be on a Sunday.

Lovely old pub is the LT. Some good beers to choose from. Pleasant beer garden out the back and they do a pretty good Sunday roast if you're looking for a feed. Not cheap, but very tasty. We got the mixed meat plate and the pork belly was particularly good. Probably a good idea to book a table if you're wanting to dine at peak times as I imagine it gets busy.

The best (and certainly the biggest!) Sunday roast I've ever had. Beautifully cooked, nicely presented and a great selection of vegetables to go with the lamb. The Yorkshire pud was ginormous - tasty. None of us could manage the generous helping of roast potatoes. The waiters helped us to our seats to make it easy for our elderly father. The biggest bravo goes to the Chef/s- we saw three of them churning out the meals from our seats. Overall, top marks.
