Booked here for breakfast with Santa for my daughter and 16mth old grandson. Started off ok, nice welcome, good table. Then down hill. No high chairs! Only 3 for the whole event FOR CHILDREN. Sorry but have you ever tried to 'contain' a toddler, let alone let him eat fruit and cream pancakes from a pub chair??? Spent an hour chasing said toddler around the pub, at one point he was behind the bar. When enquired as to why so few high chairs for A CHILD EVENT the guy who waited (said loosely) said sarcastically 'can't expect us to have a stack of 20 high chairs taking up all the room' No, I dont expect 20 but would think at least 6!!! Same guy also failed to bring child's drink along with pancake (comes with the breakfast). When we asked about the drink he said 'well you should have ordered it with the breakfast' and thrust the menu back at us. Hmmm, maybe the 'waiter' should have asked when taking the order! Santa was lovely, our toddler met him several times as child ran round and around the Christmas trees, climbed, ran in mens toilets and caused general chaos. He LOVED it! Myself and daughter felt stressed and exhausted! Did not like the vibe coming from the waiter/barman. Did not feel welcome. Certainly wont go again but the 3 bottle openers grandson got from the Children's Christmas crackers on our table may come in handy when he's 18!!!!

Xmas meal with friends turned into something we want to do weekly. Incredibly impressed with the staff. Dee deserves a medal, her wonderful way with customers is utterly amazing. I literally havenβt seen that kind of professionalism in years. She dealt with awkward, drunken people with charm and aplomb. Mai, our waitress was impeccable, incredibly friendly and attentive. She understood and reacted to a food tolerance issue very well and handled an awkward situation effortlessly. Helya, another waitress seemed to effortlessly support Dee and Mai, who to be honest, didnβt need any help but it just made everything 11/10. Helya was so approachable it made everything so much easier. I have to say though, that Iβve eaten many times at Michelin restaurants, and though the food here isnβt of that quality (itβs great though) the staff definitely are!!! Love the staff, love the food, brilliant pub!!

We had friends visiting from Singapore who wanted to dine in a traditional pub. We chose the Tigers Head for a late Saturday lunch, as the Sunday roasts weβve had in the past have been amazing! We were not disappointed! Majority of the group went for the Christmas set menu and I went for the steak. The steak was cooked to perfection and everyone was as happy with their traditional Christmas dinners. On top of the food, the service was outstanding. I wish I had taken note of our servers name. He was super knowledgable about the menu, constantly checked in on us ensuing drinks were flowing, and was generally happy and pleasant to deal with. I highly recommend this gem of a pub for the food, service and rural feel located just outside of the centre of Chislehurst.

Food very good quality. Chicken breast very small - I woukd say half of the breast - and very dry and overcooked or reheated. Portions not very big for hungry person. Waiting time quite long. Prices are moderate, moderate high as for medium size portions.

Father's Day lunch here today. Through no fault of their own they were understaffed but the team did a fantastic job of picking up the slack and looking after their customers. Food was excellent (highly recommend the triple roast and the smoked salmon and fennel salad) and we will be returning. Service by Dee was first class. Thank you!!

If I could give 3.5 stars I would but settled for 4 as 3 is too low! A lovely pub with a nice atmosphere and interior. There was 8 of us and we had booked in advance, they gave us more than enough space which is nice as usually places will try to cram you on to tiny tables but not here. There was lots of items missing off the menu however it was quite late into the evening so not a problem. However was quite dissatisfied at the fact that one of the dishes was meant to come with onion rings and it was only when we asked where they were as they werenβt on the plate, the waitress went to check and informed us that they didnβt have any. They didnβt offer an alternative or even reduce the price of an extra side we got with that dish. We also got a sirloin steak that was very chewy and not much of it was edible, however the other sirloin and rumps were very nice and cooked to perfection. A coke was Β£4.20 which is on the expensive side and tasted quite watered down. The food we did get tasted lovely and service was quick and attentive. I would definitely go back but just wish they were a bit more apologetic about missing food rather than it feeling like it was our problem.

Went last evening with booked table after recommendation. Our friends regularly take their lovely doggie with them, but my first time. Were given a table next to the doors leading to the garden, good atmosphere. Service was slow, we did not mind as we enjoyed a great bottle of french wine. Girls serving us were friendly and polite. 4 of us went for different starters and mains- I had courgettes and peper stack, super green salad with halloumi, apart from halloumi being dry and cold I was pleased with my choices. Where my other half and our friends were not very satisfied if I have to be honest. Meat in their opinion was dry and chewy, where our friend ordered medium rare- received a well done. The sea treats they had some were undercooked and some overcooked and very very dry. I was the only one having desert- I've chosen the salted caramel sunday and I can say with was simply great, combination of all worked really well and satisfied my sweet tooth. Would most likely return again and give them another go, probably for their roast as most pp are recommended it

Me and the wife visited today for a Sunday roast. The service and food were excellent and the price very fair for the good quality on offer.

I had such a wonderful night I was being served by a lady called Mai. The food was absolutely delicious and so was The wine. The pace was quite slow but that was lovely because we got to really enjoy our evening and have three hours ETA and drinking and relaxing. The food quality is really good, the service is even better. This is a Moscow pace phone English food experience. It was absolutely perfect thank you for a nice evening
