   Michael phoned me at 9 am and I had purchased my home insurance by 9.20 am. I was quoted for a basic policy, I wanted some extras which were all explained to me, and the cost. I was very satisfied with the service and the price quoted.

   It's rare that I leave reviews, but I feel I must on this occasion. My home insurance was with RSA but when they recently ceased home insurance my bank recommended Uinsure and I began receiving a lot of texts and letters from Uinsure to call for a quotation. I had been paying £106 a month with RSA which had risen from £75 due to a claim a few years ago. I phoned Uinsure for a quotation and went through all my details. The quotation given was £330 a month!!! I couldn't believe it! After increasing excess amounts to the max and removing any extras the quotation reduced slightly. The guy seemed a little surprised when I said I wouldn't be proceeding. I then phoned TESCO Home Insurance and gave them all my details. The quote was £61 month. Don't know how Uinsure could arrive at such a crazy quotation! It's worth shopping around everyone.

   Today I received my renewal price and was totally shocked to see that you wanted to put my price up by £45 making the new amount £86.13 per month. I rang your company to ask why and was told it could be down to more people claiming. I have never claimed and have over 9 years no claims. So you basically told me I would be paying for other people. Obviously I have cancelled and have found alot cheaper policy

   The application was very straight forward. Every question easily understood, and answered. No additional information needed. The quote was immediate. If, on reflection, you changed the cover detail required, whilst still completing the application, the quote immediately gave the amended cost. The outcome was pleasing, and I hope Uinsure will cover our insurance requirements for years to come.

   My mortgage broker initially set up my home insurance via Uinsure so I was unaware it was an auto renew policy. The full policy amount was taken from my account without warning to myself. I immediately called to cancel and have now been waiting for a refund for 2 weeks. Terrible service.

   Rip off. They won't refund your properly unless you close your account on exactly the day your renewal is up!! I was charged nearly £100 for 1 months cover (annual charge £240)!!

   I am not happy with the service i have received i have had a burglary which i reported straight away to the police, unisure sent me an email to ask me to send proof of purchase which i have done in bank statements and also pictures of items and also crime reference number which i was given from the police, now they are saying they want receipts for items which i no longer have as the items that was pinched are a few years old… Unisure is making this a-lot more stressful for me as if its not been stressful enough.
