The Bull Tavern labels itself as an Irish pub and has an Irish flag to show it but don't expect a warm Irish welcome in here. The pint I had was good to be fair but there was no real atmosphere or character to the place.
A simple down to earth boozer close to the trains in Woolwich. Star of the show is the dog who had defluffed the cuddly toy, evidence still on the floor waiting for the crime scene boys to turn up. Dog is still happy. Lovely people and great service. A good old east end boozer.
It's freezing and raining outside. I just went in to wait for my Uber for 5mn in the middle of the afternoon. Not even sitting. The waitress kicked me out because I wasn't gonna order a drink. Worst service I've ever seen. No wonder why they're almost empty.

If you're not Caucasian looking, turn around and go to somewhere more inclusive of people of different races. As a non Caucasian person, everyone in the pub will stare at you like you've just murdered their entire family and taken all of their non existent jobs. Makes me wonder why this place wasn't burnt to crisp during the London riots 2011? If you like being uncomfortable with a dash a racism inclined service and awful live music, look no further, this is the place for you, you're welcome
