Attended here recently to watch local boxing clubs competing, good set up but not enough bar staff on for such a big event
Excellent hall with pretty much anything you would expect from a setting of this size. Plenty of seating, amazing supportive host, lots of parking, additional rooms to have meetings or dressing rooms etc, and nice kitchen. Would recommend

Contacted them earlier on in the year regarding hiring the function room for a wedding. Everyone I spoke to got back to me very quickly and were very helpful. The room does look a bit tired, but seemed ok for the asking price. We couldn't secure our wedding breakfast venue so we ended up going a different way, but would happily recommend them for their customer service.

The room hall is spacious and I am sure it can contain at least 250 people - I guess it depends on how the tables and chairs are arranged. It's located in a nice quiet area of Worksop and easy to find on Google map. There are also plenty of parking spaces on the side of the building and by the entrance. A good spot for personal, family and business occasions.
The hall was perfect, location was fine, ample parking but customer service was poor. We booked to hold my mother in laws funeral at the premises. Due to our cultural customs, we asked if we could bring in our soft drinks and the hall supplied the alcohol. They agreed and proceeded on this basis only for us to be told 2 weeks before the event we couldn't bring our drinks... they said the hall will supply the drinks and we should just provide the list of what we want. We provided the list but they weren't able supply all what we requested. They were very inflexible and at times refused to pick up our calls. They lacked empathy given the sensitivity of the event. As whole, they hall was beautiful but the customer service needs to change dramatically We did not ask for much, we just wanted to bring soft drinks that our guest wanted and we were denied this as they couldn't supply it all. I hope they can be more culturally understanding.
Lovely venue, only one little niggle as the lack of bar staff on New Years eve, bar ran out of tonic so I got an earful from my missis other than that it was clean and pleasant.
Nice big hall . Well set out for any occasion. Very clean.
