“I gave it 5 stars based on atmosphere and friendly staff The theatre is obviously struggling for finances but it is delightful”
“Delightful to still experience a family business operating at their best. Access to a huge product range of furniture. Friendly & helpful staff. Couldn't do enough to work through with us what we wanted, offering guidance to make sure we left happy and with great furniture. Quickly and efficiently delivered by courteous drivers. Can't recommend highly enough.”
“Great experience. My wife loved driving the tractor. There are plenty more activities too so we will be back! Great communication on booking, and even reminders of the time and date sent by email and text. They seem a friendly team too. Definitely recommended.”
“Wonderful day out,an incredible place stunning walks through woodland, along the meandering river, beautiful water rills, lots of things going on for youngsters, bike hire available from trundle bikes to adults. The historical grand house sadly is no longer standing but the history is mind blowing. The walled garden and greenhouse is fantastic and you can actually buy some of the produce at the entrance to the walled garden. We thoroughly enjoyed our day.”
“A beautiful estate, an excellent wedding venue. Signage off the main road could be better, particularly in the dark. There's a long single track which adds to the suspense and revel - impressive on a night. Appointments are a must if viewing.”
“This was a long awaited visit. Booking is restricted, but on the day we had freedom to explore the house for as long as we wished. This is an amazing time capsule, I recommend it to anyone interested in social history. The greenhouse was a particular treat.”
“Spent a great family afternoon at Clumber Park. Took the dog and the grandchildren, walked 10K, then watched them all fall asleep in the car on the way home. Really beautiful sights and scenery, peaceful and quiet, great fun had by all. Even better, the cream tea at the visitor centre”
“Beautiful garden where people can go together and work with soil, with flowers and nice, big caffe,we absolutely loved it”
“What a lovely campsite in such a beautiful location. The campsite is pristine with what looks like newly refurbished toilet and shower block (Limetree). The campsite is located within Clumber Park. There is something for everyone here. I enjoyed 2 days of hiking the trails around the lake and wider park. There is a cafe trailer at the top of the lake about a 1.5 mile walk from the site. The main cafe within the National Trust complex in the park is about 2 miles from the site. The walking is easy as it is mostly flat. I will definitely be returning here.”
“From the moment we visited Luan’s, we felt welcome and my little boy felt instantly safe. He loves attending nursery and the staff have always been so accommodating to his extra needs; truly treating our little one like one of their own. He is always happy to go and sad to leave. As parents, we have found our experience with Luan’s nothing but positive, so much so, our little boy will continue attending the setting instead of moving on to a school nursery.”
““We had an amazing experience at Party Hall! spacious, and perfect for event. The staff was professional and attentive, ensuring everything went smoothly.”
“A warm social space, filled with plenty of great activities. Friendly staff on hand and lovely beer and cider.”
“Kids love it but today we had lunch it something we always do but no more one Sausage and 10 chips for 3.95 the same went for the chicken nuggets 4 nuggets 10 chips and one adult chip which was so small I think they must have dropped half of them next.time we go.home for lunch”
“Great scouting group. Would recommend to anyone.”
“My daughter started at Child Frist Welbeck when she was 5 months old. I was really nervous to leave her because of her age. However I didn't need to worry as she has settled in so well with the team in the baby room, she beams at them as I drop her off (even now at 8 months old and separation anxiety has kicked in, she still loves to see them and happy to leave me). I get daily updates on her schedule for that day and also get sent photos and lovely written pieces of her 'golden moments' often which is lovely to see when I'm not with her. I'd highly recommend Child First, especially if you have a very little one as not only is the baby space fantastic but you can clearly see how they will grow and thrive throughout all the other spaces up to pre-school!”
