“Absolute gem of a place. Made a very last minute booking but still got an amazing price. Breakfast included, decent wifi. Lovely room, nice living room and bathroom facilities. Absouloutly perfect for what I needed.”

“Went in to have a look into a few things for my holiday and I was served by a lovely lady called Lauren she went out of her way to help me and reassure me. I’ve never felt so calm going on holiday she advised me of some really good excursions to do while abroad. Can’t thank her enough.”

“The best farm shop the UK has to offer. Exceptional variety of fresh meat, vegetables, condiments, spices etc. All the staff are friendly and the butchery department know exactly what they are talking about, you can ask them how to cook any of their products and they will give you a in-depth guide on how to do this. The BBQ course which the estate also runs is second to none, if you are a real food lover then look no further.”

“A beautiful estate, an excellent wedding venue. Signage off the main road could be better, particularly in the dark. There's a long single track which adds to the suspense and revel - impressive on a night. Appointments are a must if viewing.”

“Fantastic yard all round. Horses lovely and treated like the royalty they are. I treated my husband to the 2 hour carriage driving experience recently, and it was amazing. Hubby loves horses but doesn't ride, and is a keen but slightly nervous novice, who has always wanted to have a go. Right from the start Gail was amazing. She is incredibly skilled and knowledgeable, and really put him at ease. She also has an excellent sense of humour and really looked after him. Rio the cob was beautiful and really looked after us. The session was structured really well, starting with an introduction to the carriage type & history. Next we learned about harnessing up, then it was time to venture out! We had a lovely drive around Creswell Crags, with Gail being a patient & skilled teacher. As soon as we left, Hubby said "I want to do that again!" Thank you Coloured Cob!”

“What a lovely campsite in such a beautiful location. The campsite is pristine with what looks like newly refurbished toilet and shower block (Limetree). The campsite is located within Clumber Park. There is something for everyone here. I enjoyed 2 days of hiking the trails around the lake and wider park. There is a cafe trailer at the top of the lake about a 1.5 mile walk from the site. The main cafe within the National Trust complex in the park is about 2 miles from the site. The walking is easy as it is mostly flat. I will definitely be returning here.”
