Great site male and female toilets and showers wash up sink for pots all very clean. Owners very helpful. Good price. Really friendly site. A couple of takeaways 10 mins walk cricket club that welcomes the campers will definitely be back.

We used this site to visit family on the way north. The staff are super friendly and the site generally quiet. The toilets and showers could really do with an upgrade, they are looking quite tired now. Good location for local area though and good levels of security.
Stayed for a few weeks in June. Lovely site. Well placed for Worksop and a variety of supermarkets. Brilliant couple running it. Very professional, helpful and friendly. Thanks Chris and Mick. Will definitely return Mick & Jackie
Lovely little site x situated at the side of the Chesterfield canal
Small site with just a 5 min walk to town, and then the canal. Site is ok, sadly scruffy and tired in places with lots of seasonal vans, and some workers living on site, coming and going, plus some minor road noise. Facilities are getting on a bit but are nice and clean and all in good working order, no issues there at all. The website vs reality sadly differ, greatly. We came for walks up and down the canal, Left was very nice indeed, Right not as muddy and nothing to see. Left there is a nice pub canalside. Otherwise it’s just the town itself, which is ok, ish.

Love this place, so peaceful and no need to use the car as local town 5 mins walk away, very clean and tidy, I love the bottom end as more private
Really lovely friendly site. A hidden gem tucked away from the town but only a short walk for all amenities and takeaway food. We had a grass pitch with electric which was lovely when the sun shone and we woke to birdsong. There are sufficient toilets and showers and these are kept very clean and nice and warm. Beautiful walks along the canal to a couple of pubs and marina. Shame the tow path is not directly accessable from the site but completely understand why but that said it is only a few minutes walk to get on to it and so worth it. If you want the best of both worlds as in town and country then I'd definitely recommend.
