Nothing was too much trouble and we didn't feel rushed and he explained everything so we were fully upto speed. What a pleasure to be dealt with in a pleasant, friendly manor with an absolute star. Won't hesitate to go back to him again now we have found him!”

“Watched Mine Craft and now Lilo and Stitch (real life) with the kids and loved it! The venue was clean and the staff were friendly. The cinema is huge with plenty to offer. There's a bar which I assume, is open in the evening, again adding to the experience. The seats are comfy and there's a bit of movement on the back suggesting a slight recline. We bring our own drinks and snacks as I simply can't justify the prices they charge at any cinema.”

“From day one this hotel was just perfect! The location is spot on – right next to the Derbion with fantastic transport links, making it really convenient. The cleanliness throughout the hotel is impeccable, everything feels fresh and well looked after. The staff here are absolutely brilliant – friendly, helpful, and always smiling. The restaurant is top notch nosh, with great food and service to match. A special shout out has to go to both Pat and George for their incredible customer service. They were lovely, chatty, friendly, and nothing was ever too much to ask. They’re a true credit to the team and made my stay extra enjoyable. Can’t recommend this Premier Inn highly enough – I’ll definitely be back!”

“A really beautiful and peaceful place. Many of the monuments are stunning, and really honour the memory of those people they represent. We paid a small amount extra for the land train tour. This allowed us to cover most of the site, albeit in not a huge amount of detail. The commentary onboard was very interesting and informative. I had no idea the main feature of the armed forces memorial has a solar feature built in which allows a shaft of light to illuminate a central plinth at 11am on November 11th each year. Would recommend it to anyone to visit and pay respects to those who fought for freedom. Money raised by car parking and tours goes to the British legion.”

“Went into the spondon store Derby and was served by Samantha. The purpose of my visit was to amend a flight from Mexico. My son is currently back packing and he had emailed ahead giving permission. I spoke to the store on the phone prior to coming into store to confirm the email and when I arrived at the store Samantha was expecting me and was organised to act upon the amendments. Samantha was in conversation with me throughout the process. Talked me through the process and checked back on each detail. “Great experience to be guided through these caves. Our guide was very knowledgeable and comical throughout making the whole experience very enjoyable. Lots of steps though so not ideal for anyone with mobility problems, but there's plenty of notices around to warn you of this. There's time to take photos too. Highly recommend this tour.”

“The Flowerpot is one of Derby’s gems. Fantastic live music in an intimate setting, with great sound and atmosphere every single night. The staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming, and the service is always quick despite how busy it gets. A brilliant range of beers on tap, plus good value for money. The crowd is lively but respectful, creating a great vibe whether you’re here for a gig or just a pint. Consistently an excellent night out – easily one of the best venues in Derby. I really hope they’ll consider creating more opportunities for private functions here as I can think of no better place to host a special occasion.”
