“A really beautiful and peaceful place. Many of the monuments are stunning, and really honour the memory of those people they represent. We paid a small amount extra for the land train tour. This allowed us to cover most of the site, albeit in not a huge amount of detail. The commentary onboard was very interesting and informative. I had no idea the main feature of the armed forces memorial has a solar feature built in which allows a shaft of light to illuminate a central plinth at 11am on November 11th each year. Would recommend it to anyone to visit and pay respects to those who fought for freedom. Money raised by car parking and tours goes to the British legion.”

“Great experience to be guided through these caves. Our guide was very knowledgeable and comical throughout making the whole experience very enjoyable. Lots of steps though so not ideal for anyone with mobility problems, but there's plenty of notices around to warn you of this. There's time to take photos too. Highly recommend this tour.”

“We have enjoyed some lovely day trips with Harpurs. The buses are prompt and drivers are friendly. You get your own reserved seat for the day. The buses are clean and comfortable. Unfortunately they have decided to no longer pick up at Belper which has probably put a stop to me using them in the future. UPDATE I still do go on Harpurs bus trips after all because I like them so much.”
