“We used RT group as transport to Tbe Deep in Hull, and have fo give a special thanks to Steve who was our driver, was very accommodating and kind to our needs, would 100 percent recommend for any one needing coach travel with a wheelchair”
“Genuinely a wonderful tour for anyone with kids who love fantasy, wizards or magic tricks...or all three like we do! We talked about it in the car all the way home on a 2 hour car journey - it was honestly a fantastic time and we all loved every minute! Phoenix was super endearing, funny and embodied so much wizardly energy that even we as 40 year olds BELIEVED this man is truly a wizard - not an actor. Just do it!”
“Of all the times we’ve been to York and Halloween approaching, myself and teen daughter decided that we must do a ghost walk. We researched a few and decided on this one…. -We, were not disappointed! Our tour was 6pm on 30th October. Not one complaint or one suggestion, as we found it absolutely fantastic. Literally, from start to finish. Our tour guide, A-mazing!! A job very well done indeed. Engaging, spoke clearly, informative, humorous, safety aware when proceeding on foot around the city and tried to speak with everyone in the group. The amount of knowledge this lady had about, York, Yorkshire and the history was quite remarkable. We loved it. Thank you so much.”
“Kevin was such a knowledgeable guide! We really enjoyed the two-hour walking tour, and it’s amazing that it was all free through the Association of Voluntary Guides of York. He took us along the Roman walls and explained the timeline of when the Romans and Vikings arrived in York, which made the city’s history so much easier to picture. Such a great way to see York definitely support these volunteers if you get the chance!”
“I went on a ghost and history tour with Dan, and I had an amazing time. His way of storytelling was very entertaining and enthusiastic. He really got you invested in the stories. Besides that he just had a great sense of humor. He was always open for questions in between stories, and he could answer them really well. Definitely worth it!”
“Harry is amazing. He told us lots of interesting facts about Harrogate and showed us all the sites. He had everybody engaged and even had a little dog bowl of water for Brownie xx”
“We were a small group of 8. Alfred was a great guide. He did an excellent job in walking us through the history of York from the Romans to the railways and was able to link the development of the city to landmarks that we passed - with a great commentary, extraordinary historical knowledge and a lot of humourous anecdotes thrown in. One of the best walking tours I have been on and I would thoroughly recommend this tour.”
“We had a wonderful day out on the Steam train, Whitby & the moors tour. Chris was a fantastic tour guide, full of interesting facts and information. The small group made it feel more personal as if you have a private tour guide. The trip across the moors was spectacular! The views breathtaking and Chris would stop off at points where we could get out and take pictures or just take in the amazing scenery. The whole day was brilliant, topped off with the Steam Train journey! I would highly recommend this trip with Chris. Thank you for a fantastic day.”
“Just returned from an amazing trip to Alanya with the siblings, nephews and nieces. The agency looked after us and gave exceptional customer service from beginning to end, answering all our queries, checking in constantly and sorting out everything for us. Thank you for everything, amazing lifelong memories made.”
“Today we were visiting York Dale's tour with Trevor, our guide and driver. Everything was simply top-notch! The stories he told were captivating and revealed secrets of places no one else would have guessed (like the wood-carved mice on the benches in the old church). The guide had an answer to every question, even the most tricky, that suggests about his deep knowledge of Yorkshire history and his many years of experience. Also, the breathtaking views from the panoramic windows of the bus are truly remarkable. Sheep, cows, and the occasional bird were all self-appointed actors who performed their roles perfectly, on 10/10.”
“Absolutely smashing 5-stars experience! Spooky, funny, embracing stories told by amazing actors - just an extraordinary worthwhile attraction that you have to treat yourself in York!”
“Outstanding service, a beautiful car and a genuinely lovely man. Colin was a true gentleman, who went above and beyond to get me to the church calmly and looking my best! A brilliant addition to our wedding gang. Thank you!”
“We highly recommend BOB tours! We spent an amazing day out with Mark on the Yorkshire Dales National Park tour. We loved being in a smaller group, and unlike those big bus tours, we were able to understand perfectly everything Mark said through his microphone. The tour guides at this small company build the tours around key stops with added elements based on their own experience and knowledge of the area. This meant that our guide was able to rearrange stops according to the weather that day and add in a few stops based on what he learned about the interests of our particular group. Aside from the incredible beauty of the area, we also enjoyed learning from Mark’s deep well of knowledge to improve our understanding of the history, culture and economy of the area. Our one regret was that we didn’t think to have cash on hand to tip our tour guide. Tips are not expected but if you take one of these tours you will see how hard the guides work and appreciate the thoughtful personal touches they bring to your experience. We think you will want to thank your guide with a tip!”
“Nev and the crew are amazing! The trip was very well planned out with different options for each traveler. I wish there were more Don’t Be A Tourist trips available! Thank you!”
“Excellent tour with an engaging guide. Kirsty was warn and friendly and took us around some places we would never have found. We tasted jambalaya, beautiful Syrian food, amazing cheeses and delicious Portuguese pastries. A great way to see York and experience something different. Highly recommend.”
“Starts with a nice steady park-up at Harewood House, feeling all civilised and serene—then you’re off on a coach ride through Yorkshire countryside so pretty it should come with its own filter. Ten minutes of sheep, stone walls, and wondering if you’ve got what it takes to be the next rogue Dingle cousin. Then you arrive at the meeting hub, perched high on a hill like a scenic outpost for soap fans and snack-hunters alike. It’s got your essentials—loos, overpriced Coke (£2.95 if you’re feeling brave), a little gift shop full of mugs and magnets, and just enough shelter to almost convince you the weather’s fine. But make no mistake: this place is elevated—and the wind knows it. One minute it’s sunny selfie weather, next you’re clinging to a flapjack like it’s a parachute. Layer up, pack for all four seasons, and maybe don’t wear your best hairdo unless it’s tornado-resistant. Once you’re on the actual set, it’s soap gold. David’s shop, The Woolpack, the garage—it’s all exactly how you imagined, only smaller and with fewer explosions. No shops or toilets once you’re in though, so treat that meeting hub like base camp on Everest. A brilliantly surreal day out—just with a side of dramatic weather and pricey pop.”
“Fabulous guest house! Clean and tidy. Lovely room. Breakfast was superb! Plus Stuart and Sarah couldn't be lovelier hosts. Highly recommended!”
“Really enjoyed our stay at Heath House, we were made to feel very welcome and so were our 2 dogs. Lovely room, fabulous house and beautiful gardens and area for dogs to run free! Couldn't fault the breakfast or Jo's hospitality. All in all I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast experience to anyone.”
“The trip that NATS organised for me was a very good seamless and a very enjoyable experience with only one hick-up that was nothing to do with NATS at all..”
“Just returned from our 2nd holiday booked with Joe - we did a cruise and stay in Caribbean and during our 2nd week at the hotel we hadn't been given our transfer details and I was struggling to find out who to contact. Email to Joe who responded very quickly with all the details we needed - something we wouldn't have gotten so easily if we had booked with the 'big boys'. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Joe, he works extremely hard to ensure he gets you the best deal but it's not just the monetary side of the holiday it's the direct personal service that is invaluable. Thanks Joe we are extremely grateful.”
“First trip with Blue Sky to the Edinburgh Tattoo. Wonderful time. Thank you. Great driver Chris. Will go again. Booked for Chatsworth in November”
“Very informative & helped us plan our day.”
“Having been highly recommended to Mannion Coaches we were a little sceptical at what had been said about how good they were, Now, after an eight day, seven night tour of Southern Ireland, I can completely concur to everything that was said. The company is a family affair with Kevin the Driver and Janine the Admimistrator, Hostess, Tour Guide and anything else needed to make things run smoothly. Kevin is a most proficient driver whilst Janine a great hostess caring for all the passengers wishes. Thank you Kevin and Janine for a really memorable journey.”
“This is our second holiday we've booked with Paul absolutely fantastic guy can't do enough to find you exactly what your looking for if you want to book an hassle free holiday get on this guy”
“Terrific trip to Cuba. Everything was well organized. Can’t recommend Alex strongly enough. He is superb with great attention to detail and a wonderful “can do” attitude. Miguel and Reyno (spelling?) were superb drivers.”
“Mariano is an excellent guide who makes the tour very enjoyable and gives you an insight into York that you wouldn't get by visiting it on your own.”
“Great experience with young family. Prebooked online which I would suggest as there was a big line waiting for walk up. Nice basic little boats, easy to operate and safe enough to give your kids a turn driving. Nice views and not bad value at £40 for an hour. Good on a hot sunny day.”
“I was very pleased how welcoming the staff were and were very patient and did not rush us to choose a holiday and did everything they could to help.”
“They are very helpful I had problem with my Baby’s visa and found out about them .they applied for my Baby’s id card and it came in 5 days it was great.”
