Cruising along the River Ouse, we enjoyed beautiful views of York’s historic buildings and charming riverside scenery. The boat was comfortable, the staff were friendly, and the commentary was informative without being overwhelming. “Went on a small trip from Hull to Amsterdam. The driver was great throughout the journey and when driving us around from the sea port to Amsterdam. He made it fun, put music on and had a laugh with passengers. Definitely would go with this coach company again.”

“Just spent the best part of an hour in here. Sally was extremely helpful from start to finish. First of all, persuading my partner to try on a different style of jeans than his go to style. Then sharing so much of her knowledge with me about the women's jeans and which might suit me best as well as being encouraging with my lack of confidence on sizing. She threw a few curveballs in that I loved and probably wouldn't have considered without support!! Throughout this experience Sally was attentive towards the pair of us grabbing different sizes and offering her thoughts on how the jeans fit, whilst also being excellent towards other customers and running round the shop keeping it tidy along with her colleague whose name we didn't get. Overall a brilliant experience, we will be returning but maybe once our bank balance has recovered!!”

“Stayed for two nights and was not disappointed. The room was large and spacious with a king sized sleigh bed (so anyone over six feet tall can comfortably stretch out) and bathroom with roll-top bath and period fixtures and fittings. There were also high ceilings due to the era this property is from and the decor has been kept pretty much in keeping with that time period so it has a nice atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent, extremely tasty and well presented, the service was first rate and the staff extremely helpful and friendly. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.”
