“We lucked into the most magical day on our Cotswolds tour with Chris as our guide! What to say? We were excited for it but the tour so exceeded even our most hopeful expectations. Chris brought us to several villages-- and on the fly curated the trip around our expressed interests and those of the additional guest (who was also an amazing human and like a friend by the end of the tour!). He is unbelievably knowledgable. But what sets Chris apart is the way he distills complex history into an understandable story that very quickly facilitates enhanced appreciation for the deep significance of these places beyond their obvious beauty. I took pages of notes and came away with an intense desire to learn more about the place and British history. As an added bonus, Chris is funny, witty, helpful, kind, and interested. He is passionate about history and traveling and that all just enhanced is story telling. It truly was an experience of a lifetime and we are so grateful to Chris for that gift. On the more business like side-- pick up was prompt, van was great, water appreciated, tea and lunch spots authentic and wonderfully charming. Can't stop looking at the pictures! if you're on the fence about this tour-- don't be-- GO!!!!!! THANK YOU CHRIS!!!!! :)”
“We did the "Thirsty Thursday" cruise on the "Mathilda". Excellent experience. Very friendly crew, nice clean boat. 90 minutes of seeing Bristol from the water, very enjoyable and drink prices are moderate. Highly recommended!”
“New was great. Looked great. We had a very nice time. Just lemonade at 12.30 a nice place to chat and catch up. Great views of the river and the city of Bristol”
“Great local taxi company. Driver Craig arrived on time for airport run, and collected from airport on return, even when plane was delayed. Always a relief to make the start and end of a holiday stress free. Have used them for 5 years now for airport runs and always a pleasure.”
“Blythe and Daisy were fantastic. They were attentive, high energy, and inclusive. They adapted the story to suit the theme of our party (the hobbit/LOTR) and the kids had an absolute blast. They were engaged for two hours and left with rosy cheeks and grinning. So fab. Thank you for everything!”
“Myself & a friend went on the Cotswold tour on March 31st. Richard was our guide & he was excellent, with some great stories. We got to see lovely small towns such as Castle Combe and Bourton-on-the-Water which would have been difficult to reach otherwise without a car. Given the width & winding nature of some of the roads we travelled, I was very glad that someone else was doing the driving! Maddy's recorded pieces were really enlightening. As a keen Tolkien reader, I was interested to see the two trees either side of the church door in Stow - definitely reminiscent of the doors to Moria. Having just a small group certainly made a difference - and was much more manageable.”
“It was incredibly fun, cleverly spooky, and genuinely entertaining. We wandered through the city at night, exploring corners with eerie stories and legends that made Bath feel magical and mysterious. What truly made the experience outstanding was the guide’s amazing sense of humour and storytelling skills. The way he narrated each story kept us hooked suspenseful when it needed to be, and absolutely hilarious when we least expected it. You could tell he loved what he was doing, and that energy was contagious. The atmosphere was friendly despite the creepy stories, and the guide made an effort to interact with everyone in the group, which added a personal and engaging touch. I laughed so much and still learned quite a bit about the city's dark history in the most entertaining way possible. Whether you're into ghost stories or not, this is a must-do experience in Bath. I’d definitely do it again. It’s a perfect mix of local legend, humour, and theatrical fun. If you're looking for something different, this tour will absolutely surprise you.”
“This was such a great tour! Dan was a fantastic driver and knew a lot. I appreciated that he pointed out landmarks on the drive and how organized he was. The bus departed and arrived on schedule and everything went smoothly. I felt that two hours at Stonehenge was the perfect amount of time. I will recommend this tour to anyone I know that wants to visit Stonehenge!”
“With only a short amount of time in Bath this weekend, we were advised to join one of the Mayor of Bath’s Honorary Guides’ free walking tours, which depart from outside the Pump Room - which was an excellent recommendation. Our guide for the two-hour tour was Simon, whose enthusiasm, warmth, and depth of knowledge brought the city’s history to life as we explored its back streets, landmarks, and hidden corners. He made a genuine effort to connect with everyone in the group, tailoring anecdotes and facts to people’s interests whether related to geography, culture, or simply where they were from. The tour was informative, entertaining, and surprisingly unique, especially considering the challenges of navigating Bath’s narrow lanes, busy roads, hills, and uneven pavements. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend it. We were also delighted and a little astonished to learn that the guides do not accept tips. It’s a wonderful way to discover a city from people who share its stories purely out of passion for the place they call home.”
“Excellent customer service. Sarah was the agent that served us, she was very helpful and professional. An excellent ambassador for tui. We will definitely be booking again with her. The shop is bright and airey and very clean.”
“I spent 5 days with the brilliant Pure Trails group running around the Amalfi Coast - and what an incredible experience this was! I knew the views would be stunning - and so what can go wrong? - but I had no idea how lucky I was to get to know this lovely group! Our guides - Rachel, Matt, Eddy - were absolutely fantastic, not only they are excellent trail runners but they had been exceptionally caring, thoughtful and inspiring - thank you guys! And the fellow runners: what a lovely bunch - I didn't know anyone when I arrived, but I instantly felt like I am among kindred spirits. I couldn't recommend PureTrails highly enough, and I would definitely love to return!”
“I did my research on various Bridgerton Bath tours available before traveling there from Chicago, this particular one by Paul was highly recommended with great reviews. My best friend and I were not disappointed by this one in the slightest. Paul was very informative and charismatic and I truly enjoyed his little extra details and information about both Bath and Bridgerton. I would GLADLY book this tour again should I i return to london for a 3rd trip.”
“I went to St Lucia to coach girls and women to play netball. The experience was very rewarding; it was well organised, from pre-arrival advice through to the coordinators in market, and everyone was very caring and obviously passionate about the program and the local people we were working with. Support on the ground was exceptional and I always felt safe and supported. I was given a lot of freedom to design my own drills and I had a lot of fun with the kids. I'm a bit older than the usual volunteers (who were mostly university age) but I still felt welcomed and had fun in the free time activities. The beaches in St Lucia are a dream!”
“I recently did the 8 day Split return with Go Croatia Sail on the Navigator cruise. I literally had zero complaints the entire trip. Hannah and Daphne were the most lovely reps and they really made the trip for me. The Crew on board were equally as amazing and always took us to the most unreal swim spots, and the food was incredible. I really recommend the Korčula wine tasting organised through Go Croatia Sail, as well as seeing Mljet National Park. I was a solo traveller on this boat but it was so easy to make friends and I will 100% be returning in the future!!”
“This place is really great the cottage we stayed in was a bit small for 4 adults but that was the only thing wrong with this place. The service was excellent with a free BBQ on every monday and boxes of DVD's you can borrow for free. Also every day at 6pm there is a feeding time where you can feed the guinea pigs and chickens. The bus stop was right outside on the road which made transport fairly easy. The people running the cottages were very friendly and helpful and definitely the best service we have had on our trip so far. There is a little grocery shop up the road from the cottages about 10 minutes walk or you can take the bus into Super-Weston Mare for more shopping. Overall this was a excellent place that is great for families and people trying to have a nice relaxing holiday.”
“Fantastic tour!! A must do in Bath!! Ed our guide was knowledgeable and fun! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the food establishments we went to were top notch!! Definitely worth doing every visit to Bath!”
“Beautiful walk or cycle within easy reach of Devizes (which is also nice for a wander). If boats are travelling along this stretch of canal it's great to see the technology in action enabling them to travel up/down hill. Great day out with a nice cafe at the top of the hill, enjoyed by the whole family, the kids even managed to get in on the action helping boaters through the locks.”
“Very spectacular! It’s a 3 hour path including stops! I would suggest to go up near the entrance of Gough Caves, do all the walk path to black rock, crossing the road and going up the other cliff. Ending to the lookout tower that becomes free once you go down from it. (You’d have to pay 22£ for a day ticket if you want to go up that way and you would have very slippery paths to descend the mountain!).”
“I've lived here since 2022. It's an old, beautiful forest. Sometimes walking through the forest I feel like a character in some old folk tale or this is the same path that Thorin Oakenshield and Bilbo Baggins' group just walked. I love this area.”
“Walked into Trowbridge Tui today hoping to book our first family holiday. Emma was so so so helpful and had great recommendations. Thank you for all your help today! We cannot wait! 130 days and counting.. woohoo!!”
“You will tend to see a lot of amazing Africa and Asia reviews from Wayfairer clients. You're not wrong, they are amazing at that and my previous trip to Vietnam is proof, planned perfectly! But a little closer to home for me (USA) but planned with the same Wayfairer attention to detail was my most recent trip to Scotland. A little bit more freedom of choice since we drove ourselves but the overall plan with accommodations and day to day suggestions of sites and restaurants etc. made it simply the Wayfairer trips you just love. I can wait for my next adventure with them. Shout out to Dalia for the Scotland plan and my lifelong travel planner Lotte.”
“I visited the shop in Kingswood Bristol and was looked after by Cassie. The whole experience was very professional and informative. Cassie made the process so much easier than I could've done myself. Now looking forward to a well deserved holiday. Thank you”
“A characterful manor and stunning gardens in Italianate style and stunning setting. Lunch in the smart indoor/outdoor restaurant was delightful, presented and served most professionally. We did not sample the equally smart café but it looked first-class. All this made for a great visit and birthday lunch, all for a modest entrance fee.”
“Lovely gardens behind the Holbourne museum. A play area for children and walks along with benches for you to sit and read or relax and pass the time on a sunny afternoon. Gardens are well maintained and beautifully presented.”
“Visited for my birthday with a few friends from a hiking group. The setting is fantastic, it's a castle! The staff were lovely and kind enough to give us a tour including the dungeon pit and throne room. Nearby are plenty of walks, puzzlewood is only a short drive and truly mystical. The George inn had live music both nights and real good food. Planning another trip here in the future for sure! Thank you.”
“Went to priors woods with a public transport where we got off at station road on the bus. It took us about 15 minutes to the starting point of the woods. Initially you can still hear the traffic but as you go in further you will be in the wonderland of blue bells! We went there when it was rainy so definitely needs a hiking shoes that are rain proof. The blue bells were absolutely beautiful!!! Highly recommend to see them :) Some of the paths are less labelled so having more signs could be helpful. There was a big tree that seemed to have felled recently on the road so we could not have done the whole path but other than this great walk :)! Highly recommend :)”
“We had a lovely time on the boat tour. The tour guides were friendly and very informative. Lovely relaxing way to spend an hour in Bath”
“I’ve been fortunate to have been able to have dived with InDepth for just over 3 years, being amongst its first members. From then & now the club membership has grown to over 120 members. I really like the vibe & atmosphere at the club, especially on club nights & dive trips away. The diversity of club members is pretty impressive with members from 10 years of age to those 60 plus years of age. With many different styles/configurations of scuba equipment it really is not one size fits all. The club have amassed some very good equipment over a short period of time which is renewed/serviced as to manufactures requirements and the club has its own diving equipment Officer. Dive trips are added to the calendar as the year progresses with at least 12 trips discussed the year prior. I am myself a disabled diver and the assistance I get with my kit is unbelievable - no one moans the members automatically help. I have been lucky to attend 3 overseas diving holidays with the club in the last few years with the Red Sea being a formidable favourite of mine. The club has 7 instructors and ample dive masters/dive leaders. All are kept busy with student courses, try dives, scuba reviews and so much more. Social evenings including an annual X’mas party are great fun with some quite funny presents exchanged. I really like the club & its members, you get out what you put in at InDepth. Dive, dive, dive is the club ethos with divers diving all year round. InDepth do have its own boat so dive trips can be organised at a moments notice dependant on weather conditions.”
“We asked for a personal safari, concentrating on animals, and we got just that. A fantastic fortnight visiting three game reserves in Eswatini, a super hotel and then three nights staying beside a dam filled with water, hippos and crocodiles. Everything we needed, with all the hassle taken care of.”
