“Went last year and loved it soo much had to make another trip to Edinburgh to see them (any excuse really!) . One of best light shows seen. Well done all, must take a lot of work!”
“The team at this tourist info spot are not just friendly but super helpful and full of info about all the cool places to check out in Edinburgh.”
“Absolutely deserves 5 stars! I went with my 13 year old brother and it ended up being the most fun activity we did in Edinburgh. We didn’t know what to expect, but the actors were brilliant and really made the experience. Each room was superbly decorated, it felt like stepping onto a movie set. Plenty of laughs with a few great jump scares too. Highly recommend!”
“Absolutely great tour - me and my 2 teenage boys loved it! We had John Kincaid and he was brilliant. A great mix of entertaining and knowledgeable. 100% recommended”
“A faboulus 11 hour monster tour to the Highlands fulfilled all our expectations. Our safe and never tired driver Ken was far more than that with his excellent historical knowledge, which was a welcome addition to our visit to the Edinburgh National Museum the day before. So this trip became an unforgettable encounter with both Scottish landscape and its history.”
“Very nice green area Park with plenty of good Restraunts, Bars & shops nearby...”
“This was a Christmas present from my sister for my mum Thora and me . We booked it for the 10th of April. The atmosphere was good the music was a bit loud but still enjoyed are selves. The food was really nice we had vegetarian so we can recommend the vegetarian. The staff were absolutely brilliant.”
“We stayed here for 3 nights during an event at the Royal Highland Centre. Location couldn’t have been more perfect as the entrance is a mere 3 steps away from the hotel car park. Getting here was easy off the main road as was parking. Just remember to pay for your parking in reception and not using the qr codes in the car park as you’ll get it half price. Check-in was a breeze with all staff polite from the moment we arrived to the time we departed. Reception has a small shop area with drinks and snacks and a vending machine with all your holiday essentials that you likely forgot to pack. The airport terminal is only a 15min walk away too but constant shuttles work their way from the hotel if you arent up for a walk. The airport terminal has a tram stop which for £10 return takes you straight into the centre of Edinburgh. Our room was 34 on the ground floor. Great size and spotlessly clean. Great to see dove hand wash, body wash and shampoo along with the usual tea and coffee stuff, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Only complaint is the mattress is well past its shelf life and all its spring has sprung. Very soft and we just kept rolling into the middle but beyond that the room was perfect. Free unlimited breakfast in the morning. Muffins, croissants, pancakes machine, cereals as well as the typical hot choices like sausages, bacon, eggs etc. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would definitely go back.”
“Exceptional service, Catherine was a 10 star help”
“Had a great experience using The Edinburgh Bus company (green bus). Nadine was a great tour guide and had a wealth of knowledge about the city! There was no one else on the tour so it felt like chatting to a new friend. Definitely worth the £18. This tour stands out from others due to live commentary vs recordings. A must do on your first trip to Edinburgh!”
“This place is an absolutely amazing wee find, (take road to mansion) and cheaper than a normal campsite. Pods are clean and really cunfy, some even come with picnic benches and barbecues! Such a beautiful space and so quiet, the set up for campfire is well thought out surrounded by benches all round & there is a even a store with free firewood. Owner has volenteers working on the area so can only imagine it will get better and more beautiful in time if that's even possible. One I'll be going back too again and again.”
“I had a fantastic experience with GOJO! Not only was the taxi transfer prompt and comfortable, but the tour they provided was informative and really enjoyable. The driver was professional, knowledgeable, and made sure we had a great time while staying safe. The vehicle was clean and well-maintained, and the whole booking process was easy and stress-free. Highly recommend them if you want reliable transportation and an amazing tour experience. Will definitely book again!”
“My Dad and I did the Isle of Skye, Highlands and Loch Ness three day tour with Colin and it was unbelievable. We saw so much in our three days and we got very lucky with perfect weather. The B&B they booked for us was first-class and Colin did a fantastic job as our guide. He gave us the history of Scotland, great restaurant recommendations and made our experience top notch. I would definitely use Discover Scotland again and I recommend it to anyone who wants to see more of Scotland.”
“This tour was one of the highlights of our time in Edinburgh. Our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable about the areas we biked through. Our tour was so scenic and as promised, we hardly went near the road - all trails, which was perfect for us. Having e-bikes is a must since there were lots of hills and the e-bikes make it so much easier.”
“I had a fantastic experience on the River Spey with Scott. Thanks to Scott and Stewart for coordinating. Gear was top notch and the day was a great experience on a bucket list river.”
“this was my fourth time booking a day with Callum and my second time I took my godchild (well now a young adult) Noah along. As always we had the best day ever. Everything is carefully planned by Callum, from pick-up, gear, instructions, lunch and pictures. He has such an incredible knowledge about fly fishing, the places you fish and Scotland in general. He is super patient and helps when needed. our day was fantastic (although the weather was almost too nice, yes according to Callum it can be too nice for the fish to bite ;-)) and we both caught a few small ones. but as I always say, it is not about the fish, it is about the experience. Thank you again for a fantastic day - I will be back!”
“I did both the Harry Potter and Sherlock Holmes tours in Edinburgh with Marie, and I couldn’t have asked for a better guide! She was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and full of passion for both subjects. Her storytelling was captivating and brought each location to life, whether it was related to J.K. Rowling’s magical world or the life and inspiration behind Arthur Conan Doyle’s famous detective. Marie made the experience fun, informative, and truly memorable. I highly recommend her tours to anyone visiting Edinburgh — she’s a fantastic guide who clearly loves what she does!”
“The tour was absolutely lovely. We got to see amazing hidden gems around Scotland. Took the two day trip from Glasgow to Inverness to Edinburgh. Ample time was given to every spot. Our Tour guide and driver Mark (The Australian one, very important) was exceptionally friendly, full of knowledge to impart about everything we saw from the Sites to the geography of Scotland and really kept the entire tour jovial and exciting. Highly recommend to have him be the one to guide you. Everything was very convenient and flexible to the wants and needs of the entire group. Great stuff all around.”

“I feel like I got the most out of my trip to Scotland thanks to Heart of Scotland. We were in Scotland for 8 days and did two of their tours. One was the overnight to Inverness, the other Hadrians Wall and the borders. Our tour guide Angela was friendly, funny, informative and accommodating. Not expensive and worth every penny for the experiences we had!”
“An absolutely unforgettable first day in Scotland! Our guide, Ruth, was simply spectacular: full of historical knowledge, interesting facts, and, above all, a great sense of humor. Every stop on the tour was spectacular: from the Hermitage Forest, Dunkeld, the imposing Stirling Castle, to the breathtaking landscapes of the Highlands, everything was perfectly organized and well explained. Ruth managed to captivate both adults and children with the stories, and her passion for Scotland is contagious. The whole family loved the tour. We definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see the best of Scotland in a single day. Thank you, Ruth, for such a special day!”
“MV Scotland put together an amazing trip to Scotland for us! Every detail was perfect from hotels, meals, attractions, activities and guides! Highly recommend their team and services!”
“What an amazing experience we had. Jess was so good and has amazing knowledge of the area. On the way back we saw some dolphins and The captain went back around so we all see them and spend a bit more time with them, that was very special and they didn’t have to do that.”
“Our 10 day trip to Scotland was nothing short of extraordinary, thanks to this incredible travel agency - Luxury Scotland Tours. They planned every single detail with perfection-so seamlessly that all we had to do was enjoy the adventure. When you contact them ask for Rebecca. Our driver service, Transvercia, was outstanding: professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and an absolute joy to travel with. We felt safe, relaxed, and completely taken care of the entire time. Jacky shared amazing stories, took us to breathtaking spots we never would have found on our own, and always made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. The itinerary was a dream come true! We visited countless breathtaking castles, toured some of the finest Scotch distilleries, and immersed ourselves in Scotland’s rich, captivating history. They even planned private walking tours, boat excursions, and a private tour of a wonderful chocolate factory. All we had to do was show up. Even dinner reservation for each night had been planned. If you have a chance to take a private walking tour of Edinburgh ask for Edward Deely. He was impressive. If you're looking for a travel agency that delivers flawless planning, incredible experiences, and unforgettable moments, look no further. This team is truly top-notch. Highly, highly recommended!”
“We kicked off our exhilarating Scotland adventure on September 9th, and it was nothing short of spectacular! Finding the Edinburgh bus depot was a breeze—just a quick stroll from the bustling Edinburgh Marketplace rail station. As soon as we signed in, the fantastic Rabbies team greeted us with warmth and enthusiasm, setting the perfect tone for an unforgettable journey. Our driver, Stephen, was an absolute treasure! His captivating storytelling and deep knowledge of Scottish history brought our tour to life in the most thrilling way possible. He infused the trip with a fantastic playlist that became the perfect soundtrack to our exploration, making every moment even more electrifying. This all-day tour was a whirlwind of excitement and discovery, and if the opportunity arises, we wouldn’t hesitate for a second to dive into even more Scottish adventures! We also had the pleasure of meeting the charming Cecilia from Nebraska, USA, in our tour van. Connecting with her and sharing our stories added an extra layer of joy to the experience! At the Loch Lomond village shop, we were greeted by the incredibly welcoming Sean Donnachie, a young local Scot with a delightful accent that made our interactions a joy. Sean entertained our questions about Loch Lomond and shared fascinating insights about life in the beautiful Scottish Highlands. The shop offers a diverse selection of merchandise, making it a true gem! Rabbies tours are worth every penny—don’t think twice; book it now and get ready for the most memorable adventure of a lifetime!”
“My husband & I came in today to book a family holiday. We were greeted by Claire at the desk who was very welcoming & lovely to have a chat with before we headed over to the desk for our appointment. We had our appointment with Emma who was very knowledgeable about all the places we were considering. She was so patient with us & found us a family holiday that had everything we were looking for. She took her time talking us through everything we needed to know including the assistance we need at the airport. It was a very easy & straightforward process to book with Emma & she definitely took the stress out of having to do it all at home. Thank you very much again, we’re all looking forward to our first family holiday.”
“We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the Highlands of Scotland. Kuddos to Lauriane and Nordic for their professionalism and helpful suggestions, the entire process was a breeze. Lauriane promptly answered all of our questions and offered wonderful travel suggestions and tips. Our accommodations were all first rate and the staff at every establishment were awesome. We highly recommend Nordic and will be booking again with them. The only thing they didn’t help us out with was driving on the left side of the road, but we were able to navigate that issue (pun intended). If it is your first time in Scotland or driving in the UK, I highly recommend the meet and greet service from the airport, it really takes the stress off after the travel. Again, thank you so much Lauriane and Nordic for an unforgettable experience!”
