We went to the 11am slot on Thursday the 18th of Dec. We loved the dungeons and thought it was very immersive and good value for money. The actors were great HOWEVER, the guy who took the photos at the beginning and helped us to collect photos at the end was incredible! He deserves his own room! He was so enthusiastic and characteristic! What a guy:)

Absolutely deserves 5 stars! I went with my 13 year old brother and it ended up being the most fun activity we did in Edinburgh. We didn’t know what to expect, but the actors were brilliant and really made the experience. Each room was superbly decorated, it felt like stepping onto a movie set. Plenty of laughs with a few great jump scares too. Highly recommend!

Absolute must when visiting Edinburgh fantastic interactive experience although not for the faint of heart. I was found guilty of spilling a man’s whiskey (hangs my head in shame) and then tortured with all kinds of scary contraptions but yet still had an incredible time.

Amazing actors who involve the group every step of the way. Can be a bit scary for younger kids but my 9 year old and 11 year enjoyed it. There is a height restriction of 1.4m on the final ride.

What a fantastic experience! We were engaged the entire time from the excellent actors and the great story telling, to the well made sets and amazing theatrics. Not only were the actors SO good at their job and also very funny, but we loved how much we actually learnt about the history of Edinburgh. Unfortunately the camera failed to work on our turn of the drop ride and we weren’t offered another turn for the opportunity of the photo, but everything was great other than that.

I booked cheap tickets for here using my McDonald's employee benefits, where I was checked in promptly after going under the dungeon arch! The experience was an amazing journey through time from the actors, who portrayed different characters and the moving stages were truly epic. A gift shop follows the experience, where relevant products are well laid out and I bought a guide for my friend, before exiting in the giant lift!

We were on a trip away for our anniversary, and what better way to spend a few hours of the day than at the dungeon. It was such a laugh. The jump scares throughout were very well done. The actors were all so enthusiastic, it really made the atmosphere alive (or dead!) All the sections were well maintained and clean. The drop ride was a great addition and the photos from it, hilarious!! Gave the family at home a good laugh. I would recommend this for couples or friend groups up for a laugh. It says no children under 8 - I know it depends on the child but I feel this is a bit young given the experience of a youngster in our party. If your child is of a nervous disposition, give this a miss.

Really enjoyed this fir something different. Yes, its a bit gimmicky however you should realise this before booking a haunted dungeon. Good acting from all staff, rooms were well presented and the experience was fun. I booked this over the other close and haunted tours and believe I made the right choice.
