Loch Ness Glencoe and The Highlands was the tour we went on, and Fin was our tour guide. He was absolutely amazing!! He had very interesting stories and an interactive way of telling it. He let us take the scenery in at times and told us history as it pertained to where we were. The company offered small tours unlike other competitors, which was so nice!! I was so grateful I booked with Discover Scotland! Fin remembered the names of my kids and called them out saying “You wanted to see snow, there it is!” Such a nice touch! He was a mix of historian, tour guide, RJ/DJ mixing up some Scottish songs from his play list. An awesome experience and thank you for the experience!!

My sister and I absolutely loved our 3-day tour of the Isle of Skye, Loch Ness and the Scottish Highlands. We really appreciated being part of a small group, and the variety and number of sites we visited each day were perfect. The landscape was truly stunning and something we’ll never forget. We were blessed with amazing weather which made the views even more breathtaking! Our guide, Jamie, was fantastic — friendly, knowledgeable, and full of great stories. I even discovered some brilliant new Scottish music from his bus playlist. Thanks, Jamie! All in all, it was a wonderful experience from start to finish, and I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone heading to the Highlands or Isle of Skye.

After researching a number of tour companies while browsing good old Google, I ended up booking a 4-day tour to the Isle of Skye, the Highlands & Loch Ness with Discover Scotland Tours and was so glad I did. Communication was excellent right from the start and the tour itself was absolutely fantastic. The group of people I travelled with was lovely and we got to see so many beautiful parts of the highlands thanks to our awesome tour guide Stuart. He was professional, knowledgeable, and deeply passionate about his work. This tour was the highlight of my trip to Scotland and I would highly recommend Discover Scotland to anyone considering a unique and well-planned adventure!

Loch Ness Glencoe and The Highlands was the first 1 day tour we went on (out of 3), and Ron was our tour guide. He was absolutely amazing!! With each tour we took, each guide for sure each had their strengths and each their own style. We each had our favorites and Ron was mine! He had very interesting stories and an interactive way of telling it. He let us take the scenery in at times and told us history as it pertained to where we were. The company offered small tours unlike other competitors, which was so nice!! I was so grateful I booked with Discover Scotland! It could have been scary booking all 3 of my trips with them and they weren't any good. There were two things I did right when I booked all of our activities for Scotland, this was the first thing I nailed!! They are worth every dime we spent! Their tour guides made it memorable, and we are grateful for making a once in a lifetime dream so special! Loch Lomond, Stirling Castle & the Kelpies was the 2nd one day tour I booked and we had Cameron for a tour guide. He is pretty new with the company, but man! He loves history of Scotland so he had so much information that we just ate up. Because of him, we found out that my mother in laws family had a castle. We went to Scotland to do a pilgrimage of her family, celebrating her 75th. Cameron made it extra special so thank you to him!!! He was my MILs favorite tour guide, with good reason. I absolutely love this company! They are the absolute best!! You will not regret booking with them!!!

My Dad and I did the Isle of Skye, Highlands and Loch Ness three day tour with Colin and it was unbelievable. We saw so much in our three days and we got very lucky with perfect weather. The B&B they booked for us was first-class and Colin did a fantastic job as our guide. He gave us the history of Scotland, great restaurant recommendations and made our experience top notch. I would definitely use Discover Scotland again and I recommend it to anyone who wants to see more of Scotland.

Terrific experience & highlight of our UK trip. We took a 1-day tour to Glenfinnan Viaduct from Edinburgh. Pros: Small coaches keeps the group size small, thoughtfully crafted routes with time for exploring the best places and getting photos, Scottish music, plenty of history, and knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. Cons: There honestly were none! Only thing we regretted is that we couldn’t carry on with our tour guide Frank for longer. The tour was a full day of adventure that never felt like it dragged on and we were sad when it was over. We could have continued exploring Scotland with Frank for days on end. Thank you, Discover Scotland Tours, for the incredible adventure!! We will definitely explore more of Scotland with this company on future trips.

Bill and I had a fabulous tour of Loch Lomond, Stirling Castle & the Kelpies with Discover Scotland Tours. We thought Marco was terrific. He gave an overview of the day, kept everyone informed, shared his local knowledge and was very kind. I especially liked his musical interests and the Scottish Melodies he shared along the way. His local knowledge, enthusiasm, and care for the tour participants was extraordinary. The day was well organized, and the sites and experiences as promised. The trip went according to schedule. Marco was very clear about timing expectations, so our tour mates were prompt. We loved the extra special insight into Scottish music shared through the trip. Would highly recommend the Discover Scotland team!!!

I took the Glen, Lochs and Castles tour today, my guide was Marco. It was an incredible experience, we saw some great castles and stunning views of the highlands and lochs. Marco was wonderful. Told us a lot of fun facts about Scottish history and the Scottish people. I highly recommend it!

We traveled today with Marco! We left from bus stop ZE across from the Waterloo Apex Hotel in Edinburgh which it states on their website. Our bus was right on time and could fit 16 people today ended up being a small tour of just 7 people which was very nice. Marco was a great driver with great knowledge. In between fun facts he played Scottish songs that often related to the views around us. He also really gave us options on when we felt like we had enough time in each place he let us move on to the next but with the approval of the whole group. He was super kind to drive us to the front of restaurants and closer to the areas we wanted to go. There were plenty of times to use the restroom and we had plenty of time at each place we stopped at. Naturally at castles like Inveraray you could stay for hours but the time they give us plenty to see what you need without reading every single plaque. We left a little before 9 because I whole group had made it on the bus and arrive back to the bus stop right around 7pm. There was also plenty of time and opportunity on this trip to grab snacks, drinks, and even sit for a meal during lunch time as long as you take advantage of it. Many tours don’t give the proper amount of time but this one sure does. This wasn’t in the tour description so it might but happen on your tour but we were able to stop and pet/ feed some highland cows which was a fun and unexpected stop! I was with my two older and handicapped grandparents and this trip was generally accessible for them because of the rain we sometimes stayed back a little from the muddy paths just to ensure their safety but it is totally doable for almost everyone. Overall it was such a great trip, thank you to Marco!

We participated in the Highland Lochs, Glens & Castles tour in February and absolutely enjoyed it! I've recommended it to some of our friends and in a private Facebook group travel page. We plan on booking again when our parents visit and can't wait. Our Tour Leader John T was so welcoming, kind, and a great driver- I recommend him to everyone! We learned so much about Scotland, it was beautiful- even in the middle of February and driving through three different kinds of weather! I was constantly turning my head to look at everything which probably contributed to me getting a little motion sick, but it is by far my favorite memory of getting motion sick. 10/10 would go again. Would also like to mention all the small details that did not go unnoticed- all was very appreciated: quiet Scottish music playing in the background on the bus, facts about castles and Scotland provided by John (but not an overwhelming amount, it was very nice to listen to the music in between), his recommendations where to eat for Lunch in Inverary, telling us reasonable times to return to the bus to stick to the schedule, umbrellas he had ready for anyone to use, and the suggested use of the front seat in case anyone (like me) became dizzy while on the winding roads. Thank you again for providing such a wonderful tour, we already can't wait to be back! Cheers, J+K
