“Excellent Beatles tour with Jimmy! We enjoyed seeing so much of the city and the major Beatles history sigets, but especially loved taking with Jimmy and hearing the stories....not only about the Beatles but also the city and the people. We definitely recommend taking this tour dieing your time in Liverpool.”
“My wife and I had an absolutely LOVELY time on this tour yesterday. The “Phils” were both extremely helpful and knowledgeable. “Phil the Younger” led our tour with another older couple (like us) from The Netherlands and was the best tour guide we could have asked for. We stopped at three of The Beatles birthplaces and childhood homes (John Paul Ringo) and did not visit George’s because it is a bit more outside of town (we visited it on our own this morning as we were leaving Liverpool). Our favorite parts of the tour were Penny Lane, Aunt Mimi’s house on the dual carriageway (and where John’s mother was killed in a horrible car accident when he was 17), the Eleanor Rigby grave, and the last few miles along the docks. O — and running into Colin who played with John in The Quarrymen!! My wife and I have enjoyed a number of ebike tours on different continents and we have to honestly say that the tour conducted by Phil yesterday in Liverpool is now at the top of our list. Highly recommended.”
“Fantastic experience for my 10 year old grandsons introduction to scuba diving. He's already asking when he can go again, so we are booking him on the full course! Leanne is patient and encouraging. A whole new world has opened up for him. Thank you, Palaemon Divers”
“My husband and I took the three-hour Beatles tour with Adrian and Phil (the taxi driver), and it was an unforgettable experience. From the beginning, Adrian took the time to lovingly and thoroughly explain each of the iconic sites we passed. He made us feel like we were rediscovering the history of the Beatles, and his passion for what he did was evident. Phil, the driver, was also very kind and calm, and they both perfectly respected our pace, never rushing us. We are deeply grateful to Carmen, who organized the tour with such care. It was a day full of magic, stories, and good company. We definitely recommend this experience; it's something we'll never forget!”
“Great tour with Rob today. Extremely informative about Liverpool, easy to listen to and fantastic depth of information. Thank you so much for a lovely morning.”
“Absolutely delicious! Bursting with flavour and a touch of Sri Lankan warmth 'The Lions Liverpool' is a must-visit.”
“My husband and I went on a day tour to North Wales with BusyBus, and it was a fantastic experience! Our guide, Adrian, was incredibly friendly and made us feel like we were on a family day out. We explored North Wales in the best possible way, and Adrian’s enthusiasm and knowledge made the trip even more enjoyable and memorable. I highly recommend BusyBus sightseeing tours for anyone looking for a fun and unforgettable adventure.”
“It was truly amazing. The Experience was my birthday present off my husband. I was so excited just like a kid on Christmas morning. Great welcome on arrival. Coffee and biscuits while the paper work sorted. Taken outside and asked, out of 5, which car I would like to drive. I'm 70yrs old and 5'3" tall. I chose the biggest. A 2018 White 4.2 Range Rover value £120,000. Sean, my instructor was excellent. He drove down to the off road area then it was over to me. He explained all the controls, buttons, switches, mirrors and cameras. He said we would have some surprises on route and oh boy did we! One of the pics shows us stopped and balanced on 3 wheels. Look close, the furthest front wheel is off the ground. I took that pic while stopped balanced with my foot firm on the brake. If you want to know more make a booking. It's worth every penny. I didn't want it to end.”
“We really enjoyed this Beatles tour and I highly recommend it to everyone. The driver Arthur and guide Damion were great. Damion was an awesome performer and sang a few Beatles songs with his guitar along the way. The three stops were Strawberry fields, Mcartney's childhood house and Penny Lane. We stopped but didn't get off at Lennon's home. The tour price was very reasonable and they also allow you access to the jump on/off bus tour.”
“Too many negative reviews here - not what I expected from a lot of them. The museum is across 4 floors - the shop on the ground, then pre-Please Please Me, then 1962-66, then 1967-1970. All the Pete Best stuff the other reviews mention is on the first floor - which is really interesting with a lot about the Casbah and Hamburg. There are some great items too, with lots of guitars, memorabilia, and items purchased by the boys. I particularly like some carved coconuts John bought in Hawaii on holiday which were incredibly random but silly. They also have a toilet from Tittinghurst which is odd but nice. There were some really good copies of the Pepper suits and right next to them french horns used on the album. Really enjoyable experience, great shop with decent prices, and not too busy.”
“Brilliant tour of Chester with Nicola. Excellent insights into it's history from Roman times through the medieval to the war of the three kingdoms to the regency period. I would recommend. The 90 minutes flew by.”
“I had the pleasure of a trip on the boat, "Floating Grace" and it was wonderful. The service was 1st class and the skipper certainly knew how to sail with care. Thank you.”
“Paula is always so welcoming as are all the staff. Drinks offered on board and a great way to spend 30 minutes. Very informative on history”
“I spent 4 weeks at the Travelodge, Strand whilst working in Liverpool recently . The rooms are exceptionally quiet, the staff here are super friendly and breakfast is excellent with a great view of Royal Albert Dock just opposite. Liverpool One Shopping Centre is close by and parking in Q park one is discounted - you need to pre book your days and you can come in and out of the car park when you want , just park on the 3rd floor near the shopmobility end and then you are at street level to walk to the hotel. Food menu in the evening has a good range of choice. I definitely would book here again.”
“Lovely staff in here, especially Mandy, she's been so helpful. We've chopped & changed our holidays a few times and nothing too much trouble, would 100% recommend Hays travel for your holidays.”
“Lovely ride, bit windy at times.”
“Fabulous business, really look after you! Darren is a wonderful driver,Would definitely recommend!”
“Big Shout out to Chris and Ryan with Ryan's patience excellent driving and Chris's top knowledge and banter We had the best Beatles blue route tour”
“We had a brilliant time with Shiverpool Tours, on their Hope Street Shivers tour, Lots of fun, laughter and ghost stories about the city. The two guides Chilla Black and Mary Coffin, were amazing! Made the evening special!”
“Jackie Cox-Peel from bar head travel booked me and some family members, a recent trip to Iceland. She booked everything from the flights, transfers, hotel and trips. The hotel was very central and perfectly situated for exploring the capital city on foot; and it was a lovely hotel. She took all of the stress out of the trip and organised some lovely excursions, to make the most of our stay. Would ask her for help again and would recommend her and the company to others. Thank you so much.”
“Just like to say, a big thank you to Kelly at TUI Wrexham She was so friendly and Knowledgeable about what we required in booking our next holiday. She also helped us with an upcoming booking that we are having trouble signing into. Thanks Kelly”
“This is over 200 years old viaduct over the River Dee. You can paddle or walk over it. For safety reasons paddle boarders have to push board with the paddle while walking instead is stand up paddling. View from the viaduct is breathtaking. In good conditions you can for many miles. There is a car park nearby in Trevor.”
“Getting the tour with Ian was like riding with the 5th Beatle. His knowledge and passion was absolutely amazing. As a musician who grew up listening to and admiring the Beatles this tour was definitely a highlight of my trip to the UK. This was more than just a fan tour, it was educational and insightful as well. I could not recommend more! Cheers Ian!!”
“having booked our big holiday with Tui we decided to try their travel Insurance and Heather and the team at Widnes were fantastic (as usual) and sorted everything out for us. Can go away knowing all is well.”
“First time using Panache Cruises and Robert was concise and prompt at answering any queries that I might have. Confident that he will be personally invested in making sure our trip goes as smoothly as it can and everything runs as outlined in the cruise ship literature. He seemed happy to go the extra mile and the price was very competitive.”
“We are not hardcore Beatles fans but we were visiting Liverpool for the first time and thought when in Liverpool… you go on the Magical Mystery bus tour. It was absolutely worth it, not just because of the Beatles theme but you also get to see parts of the city that you might otherwise not visit. Our guide, Tony, actually plays in Beatles tribute bands and grew up on the same road as Paul! Our driver was Steve and he was great. There was something strangely moving about driving through the streets of Liverpool, to the sound of the Beatles, learning about what inspired their songs. It made me really appreciate the city and I already know that I’ll come back. My only suggestion would be to have some kind of contactless tip jar - I would have loved to leave a tip but we didn’t have any cash on us. Some system like they have now in museums would be a great way to reward the guide and the driver.”
