“This is over 200 years old viaduct over the River Dee. You can paddle or walk over it. For safety reasons paddle boarders have to push board with the paddle while walking instead is stand up paddling. View from the viaduct is breathtaking. In good conditions you can for many miles. There is a car park nearby in Trevor.”

“Beautiful house and gardens. Very welcoming staff. So lovely to see the history of the staff in service displayed. My favourite area of the house seeing the servants dining hall and butlers pantry. A very informative lady explained the whole area with such animation it brought it to life for me. We enjoyed sitting out in the beautiful gardens.”

“I've been here a couple of times with my 5 year old son. It's The best day out, and the staff absolutely make it. No rushing or stress. Safety is a clear priority for them and it's extremely reassuring, but also the attention, interaction and attitude with people is brilliantly done. Very good with my kid and all the other family's. It all feels natural and not forced, it's not something you can learn on a course, it's more a vocation. I can't recommend highly enough, too marks.”

“Well what can I say? We visited Liverpool and came across Tui and thought we would just take a look at a holiday for the 2 of us. We were approached by Katie who asked us what we had in mind. All I could say was, an all inclusive but adult only and somewhere that had great reviews and great food and entertainment. Well she had so much knowledge about so many places and suggested Tenerife to us and a hotel which had the most amazing reviews and was situated in the most beautiful place we had seen so decided to book. Wow……. When we arrived we were absolutely blown away! I’ve never seen my wife cry with so much joy it was so beautiful. We had the most amazing time and didn’t want to leave. I can’t thank Katie enough. I would most recommend you going there and if you do come across Katie I’m certain she can help you with your amazing holiday”

“We are not hardcore Beatles fans but we were visiting Liverpool for the first time and thought when in Liverpool… you go on the Magical Mystery bus tour. It was absolutely worth it, not just because of the Beatles theme but you also get to see parts of the city that you might otherwise not visit. Our guide, Tony, actually plays in Beatles tribute bands and grew up on the same road as Paul! Our driver was Steve and he was great. There was something strangely moving about driving through the streets of Liverpool, to the sound of the Beatles, learning about what inspired their songs. It made me really appreciate the city and I already know that I’ll come back. My only suggestion would be to have some kind of contactless tip jar - I would have loved to leave a tip but we didn’t have any cash on us. Some system like they have now in museums would be a great way to reward the guide and the driver.”

“The finest ales on tap, plenty of spirits available, making this a great small pub. The prices are very reasonable - the cheapest I've seen in Chester. The venue has alot of atmosphere and is filled with alot of character and charm. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, but don't take my word for it...ask Archie...the local resident cat.”

“We went for the toddler session and our two year old had a whale of a time. There was more than enough there to keep him entertained and busy for the whole duration. So much in fact that he didn't get time to explore everything, but that doesn't matter because there will be new things for him to discover next time. The biggest hit was the augmented reality sandbox where he got totally immersed watching the dinosaurs and the volcano while manipulating the sand to try and stop and redirect the lava flow. Some of the things did not work properly, but that did not detract from any of the fun. Just one other little thing to note, I don't know if this is just our little man's party trick (all of our family seem to have a few) but when we stopped to eat, the chairs in the cafe area are designed with holes in them and our little man managed to get his thumb stuck, not once, but three times! Daddy had to come to the rescue as it was well and truly stuck each time. Can you Imagine that....”

“I would like to pass on my appreciation for Ellie at the TUI Cheshire Oaks Store who has recently helped me with flight changes made by Ryanair. The Ryanair portal was not working and I could not get anywhere with Ryanair which was stressful. I contacted the store and spoke to Ellie and explained my situation. From the beginning Ellie showed understanding and made me feel at ease and told not to worry and she would look into it for me. To Ellie’s credit she solved my problem although experiencing some difficulties along the way. My flights are now back on track and I can now relax knowing that if I have any further difficulties Ellie and your staff are only a phone call away. I am so pleased with Ellie and the service provided by the store and Ellie.”

“We used to use MD Travel a few years back but we changed our holidays destinations and used our car more. We are now having to use Manchester Airport for the foreseeable future and I refuse to drive there so we booked with MD. And glad we are to have done that too. Both drivers were there on time and great drivers too. Added bonus being to get a text soon as you land from the driver so you know where he is. Comfy cars, minimum fuss, phone help if need was... I struggle to see how better this service could be. Definitely will use for all our future trips.”

The 2 hours wizzed by and I learned a few things I did not know about the city and The Beatles. “Toured the Lake District with wonderfully pleasant driver and guide (Shelli) who added to an interesting and fun experience. Scenery was beautiful and towns charming but crowded. One minor disappointment was the optional ferry ride from Bowness to Ambleside (13£). Short and didn’t add much in terms of scenery. The trip highlight was a beautiful walk from a high point in the Langdales to the valley below. Grasmere was a town worthy of William Wordsworth poetic description.”

“We went to Liverpool and stopped in the Radisson Blu hotel. It was a great weekend. Huw, our driver, being from Liverpool himself was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We also had an unexpected Magical Mystery Tour with Maria, which was brilliant. The hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet. A thoroughly enjoyable weekend.”

“My wife and I recently returned from Distant Journeys Golden Triangle & Ranthambore tour of Northern India - an experience we will never forget for all the right reasons! Booking the tour was a breeze with very helpful and knowledgeable staff based here in UK. Always readily available at the end of the phone to answer queries on any issue from visas to health matters. We had smooth flights with Virgin Atlantic from Heathrow and we were met in Delhi by our tour guide AJ who was totally amazing thoughout the whole trip. All the hotels were first class and could not be faulted, very smart, spotlessly clean and the food excellent with plenty of choice. All had swimming pools. Needless to say the Taj Mahal was probably the highlight, but one of many on the trip. We even managed to get within 15 meters of two young tigers. All in all a very memorable experience at an exceptional price!”

“My husband and I went on the York Xmas Market Trip yesterday. We cannot praise Jones holidays enough. From start to finish it was a completely professional and joyful experience in every way. The coach was perfect and the seats so comfortable. Plus a toilet on board which is a bonus. They go out of there way to make sure everything is perfect and that you are comfortable. We cannot wait for our next trip as we enjoyed it so much. It was our first coach trip with Jones Holidays and will definitely not be our last.”

“Really interesting tour and the gent doing the guide was spot on, £5 a ticket is worth it ALL day. Cafe does hot drinks and cold drinks however no food only chocolate bars so if you are planning food before the tour keep in mind. Brilliant local history piece”

“Had a fab day out at lake district. Coach arrived promptly and was lively and clean. Dennis the driver was so funny. He's a right laugh!!!! Got to hotel for lunch. It was ok. We were then driven to board a boat for a trip along windermere. When we got off there was enough time to look around a little market or stroll along some of lake windermere and surrounding area. We then boarded coach to drive us safely home. Thank you Dennis :-D”
