Excursions in Swansea

“We had a wonderful afternoon aboard Copper Jack yesterday. The boat trip took us from our moorings at Swansea's marina, next to the Helwick Light vessel, along the river Tawe all the way to the Liberty Stadium. The onboard guide was so knowledgeable and explained Swansea's maritime history and how the area became the centre of copper production during the industrial revolution. Amazing hour and a half and well worth the £15 ticket fee!”

“this is a very well run tour. lots of detail about the meeting point and the expected route before the day. plenty of experienced advice on the conditions to expect and what to be prepared with. while driving there was really interesting facts about the area and some good pointers on how to tackle any challenging sections. highly recommended and looking forward to touring with Adam again at some point.”

“Delightful visit. The property is lovely, perfectly located in Llangennith and only 5 mins walk to the pub for food, or a longer walk over the hill to Llanmadoc. Great bed, beautiful bathroom. The breakfast was superb, with Dafydd (owner) pulling out all the stops for my vegan wife. Would love to return soon.”

“Always like this travel shop staff are always friendly & helpful we booked with Olivia this time and again lovely service, the only one problem can be parking specially if you have a mobility difficulty as if the car park is full behind the shop it can be hard to find parking unless your familiar with the area.”

“Travelled the first time with D. J. Thomas in May 2024 to the Rob Roy Hotel, Aberfoyle, Scotland. It was so enjoyable that we returned there this week, and persuaded friends to come with us who also enjoyed. We are now ready to depart for home.
