“Paul was friendly and helpful when I called to book, and has a very sensible system of having clients call the day before to check that conditions are suitable for sailing. I also received a very helpful email confirming my booking and providing directions and useful information about the trip. As for the actual tour - it was wonderful! A fast, comfortable ride out to the wind farm, and then we spend a good amount of time moving slowly amongst the turbines for a close-up look, while Paul provided us with a wealth of interesting and amusing facts about the planning, construction, and day-to-day running of the enterprise. It is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. After that we headed back via a gentle excursion along the Brighton & Hove coastline, passing both the piers. Well worth the price, and thoroughly recommended! Thanks, Paul!!”

“Really nice little cafe. Bright and colourful and the girl serving from South Africa was really friendly! We only ordered drinks and some chips to eat outside (17.08.24 about 15:25) and we were served quickly. Chips were brought out to the table for us outside so we didn’t need to wait for them. Will definitely go back - the burgers that the chef was cooking looked DELICIOUS and so did the chicken wings that we saw them taking out!”

“Thank you Duncan for accommodating our family of 10 for a lovely scenic boat trip. The boat was nice and comfy and it was lovely to have the boat to ourselves & be able to take our own drinks. Duncan gave us options of where we could go and gave us our full hour once we were all settled on board. The only thing I would say is that it would be even more comfortable to have some cushions in the seating area (I'm sure they have them we just didn't ask). Would highly recommend. Our captains were a delight to talk to and they made the tour even more fun. The dogs enjoyed the attention they got as well and sniffed into the air the whole ride. “Myself and my mum have been taking our boy Bear to Jo for quite a while now. We came to her as our previous groomers were behavioural ones and unfortunately gave up their business. Bear loves going to get groomed, he has come on so well since being there, I think it’s more to do with the fact he gets fed there! He loves all the attention and food he gets and he even lets Jo cut his claws and then makes him smell so nice! All the staff are so nice and pleasant and always talk to us, making us feel very welcome. Best of all, Bear is always knackered when he gets home and falls straight asleep!”

“If you like a good walk, park here, have breakfast or just a coffee in the cafe and then hike the Seven Sisters along the coastal path to Eastbourne via the Birling Gap (about half way and there's a cafe and facilities there) and the Belle Tout lighthouse. Seven hills to climb and seven valleys to recharge. The views from the cliffs over Beachy Head are spectacular. It's about a five hour walk. We had fish and chips by the pier as a reward! Catch the no. 12 bus back from Eastbourne to the country park to your car. Parking all day at Seven Sisters Country Park costs £7 (August 2025).”

Michael was very efficient from start to finish and helped managed to overcome any hurdles that Covid threw at us in the planning stages.
