We went to the Isle of Wight with discovery tours yesterday 27.07.25. I had some questions beforehand and was helped so well by Valentina :) she responded quickly and efficiently to all my concerns so I already had high hopes for this! The coach came on time to pick us up and we had “Bing Bong” Andrew as our tour guide. What a breath of fresh air! He was amazingly knowledgable and made the whole day a delight. We stopped in Godshill and at the needles. The time in each place was perfect and we didn’t feel rushed at any point. The coach had AC , was super clean and really comfy! We will now look to book another tour with them as this was so good :)
I usually avoid tours like the plague, but was so delighted by the quality of the tour to the Isle of Wight, that I signed up for the following day's tour to Leeds Castle and Canterbury. Andrew is very knowledgeable about many topics so I learned a lot. And, each tour allows lots of personal freedom to explore. Great guidance on how to prioritize your time.
Did the "Edinburgh, York and the Highlands" tour in February last year and it was amazing. Edinburgh is a beautiful city with old, pretty buildings like Edinburgh Castle and St Giles Cathedral. I also went to see the Greyfriars Kirkyard, the "Harry Potter" graveyard. Unfortunately, the weather was really bad when we went to the Highlands, but our tourguide Gerry made the best of the situation and it was fun! Stunning landscapes. Due to the weather, we couldn't go to York. We went to Glasgow instead, which is also worth a journey! Well organised trip with a great tourguide!
I have been on a tour to Stonehenge and Bath with Discovery Tours a couple of weeks ago. Everything was well organized. On our way to go they provided a lot of interesting information about the places we were passing through and anything we needed to know about Stonehenge and Bath :-) Laura and Manrico have been very friendly! Great experience. The organizers are really good. They are friendly and helpful. Manrico, the organiser and Gerry-the guide was very much helpful. Simply great. I recommend this tour. It's not very expensive compared to others. I went for Isle of Wight tour which was great.
