Ye Olde Cottage Inn is a wonderful traditional pub with good beer and a roaring fire. There are a selection of tables, and the bar for you to enjoy a beer and the interior is crammed with artefacts and carved wooden structures, which make for a lovely setting. Service is efficient and there are a good selection of beers on offer.
Been goin in this pub for months pop in with me lad for quick drink while waiting for are take away near by , never a problem but yesterday soon as walked in this horrible woman shoated no kids aload I said since when we been coming in hear all the time and she said well you shouldn’t of been and told us to leave what a horrible ugly attitude on this woman called her self the manager had a face like Jabba the hut
Bartender was friendly, beer was top quality and nice to sit next to an open fire

Fantastic pub, staff and locals very friendly and welcoming. Good selection of well kept beers. Will definitely be back when visiting Chester.

First time in here and what a nice surprise. Good selection of ales, very knowledgeable staff and just a good feel about the place. Rustic and cosy, just the place to spend a cold Saturday afternoon
The finest ales on tap, plenty of spirits available, making this a great small pub. The prices are very reasonable - the cheapest I've seen in Chester. The venue has alot of atmosphere and is filled with alot of character and charm. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, but don't take my word for it...ask Archie...the local resident cat.
