We spent a fabulous afternoon and evening in the Fox Excel. We initially started with a cocktail making class. The team were engaging and it was brilliant fun. We made a good range of cocktails. The basement bar is a great private space with its own bar which meant that just our team were able to enjoy the experience. We then went on to eat in the Warehouse bar. The food was outstanding, beautifully presented and delicious. We had a brilliant evening, made better by attentive, helpful staff members. Well done the Fox Excel Team.

We had a fabulous team night at The Fox. A super Cocktail Masterclass which was great fun and the cocktails were delicious. The downstairs bar is a perfect venue for a team night. Chloe, Olu and Fenella were fabulous at teaching us how to make a great cocktail and making it a fun event. We then went for dinner upstairs where I had the best pub Christmas dinner. Super tasty. Can highly recommend.

Food was OK. Food was dry and not Flavorful. Service was honestly bad the waiter seemed angry or annoyed, never having a smile on their faces all the time. Furthermore it seemed like they were working in slow motion food took so long to come also when we asked for the bill it took quite long. Atmosphere was good tables clean chair abit dirty there was a TV displaying football as well.

The Fox seems to offer good potential, having a good range of indoor and outdoor seating and the bar serving a range of small meals and drinks. Going by some of the review photographs, it is popular in the evening and weekends. I had a meal and drinks, midday during the week whilst I was waiting for my passport to be processed at the very nearby London passport office. It was obvious that a lot of people waiting for their passports use this pub so it has a good location. I had large nachos and a drink whilst there. The drink was ok but pretty pricey at £7 a pint. I had the large nachos meal which was undoubtedly the very worst nachos meal I've ever experienced - a very poor mix and very bland. I had to spice it up with plenty of Tabasco. The staff were efficient and pleasant enough, but the overall feeling here was a very cold place with little soul. The fox will undoubtedly do well with it's nearness to the passport office but I don't believe it's giving customers a good deal. Most of the time it is a very quiet area but frequent planes taking off from the city airport are EXTREMELY loud.

I came in with my family and 5 kids on Saturday 10th December. The staff and food was NOT up to standards the kids just ate just ate the burger bun as they didn’t even touch the meat which was burnt and dry and hard. The staff DID NOT even ask anyone on the table if they had allergies. Myself and a member of family didn’t even get our food which we waited over 30 minutes by the time the food came out one of the dishes had egg and was not even asked would you like egg with food. Had to send it back as of contaminated food. My family member did not even get their food. We also waited more than 30 minutes for our soft drinks. The staff did not even know what they was suppose to be manager or supervisor. As the manager was wearing a jacket and no name badge and the supervisor was suppose to be the manger. The rest of the staff was no where to be seen. When coming into the fox excel I would of thought it be a really good pub as I work in pub myself. When I questioned the person they was shocked to hear what I had to say. This was very disgraceful. For your company. I really have been put off coming back into your business. Even we paid for the food that was disgusting and got the drinks for free.

What a waste of a great location this pub is. Located where it is - directly outside a huge exhibition centre - it was as if we had surprised them when lots of thirsty customers descended on them yesterday afternoon. We arrived quite early, while the exhibition was still going strong, and the tables were covered in dirty plates and glasses then. By the time our guests arrived (and I had cleared away the plates and glasses) the bar was 5 customers deep. Average wait time to get a drink was 10 minutes. An hour later it was 20 minutes. By then they had run out of clean glasses and had reverted to plastic ones. The atmosphere was good and the under-pressure bar staff were great. I am sure there were delegates there last night who were looking forward to experiencing their first British pub… What an awful first impressive! As we did, I hope they jumped on the tube and went further afield where the tables were clean and you could get a drink within a few minutes of going in. Oh, and proper glasses. What a novelty.

Nice Pub but not enough bar staff so constantly a queue at the bar and that was a day they knew would be busy because of all the shows right next door in the Excel. Plus they ran out of food! We got the last portion of chips which was a very small portion. Not the best experience for a first time visit.

It was a nice pub with a good atmosphere and great food, however they only had 3 staff serving and about 500 people coming out of the EGX event that wanted serving. Get more staff and it would have been a 4/5. A point lost for the state of the of the toilets. Not good.
