Had a wonderful lunch with family here today (party of 6). We were seated in the far end of the building, despite this our waitress, Niah made sure we were never waiting around to order. She was very friendly and attentive. All food arrived at the same time and was delicious. Will definitely come back again.

Have been here twice in the past couple of weeks and each time guest commented on how lovely it is to have a pub in Danson Park. The pub also allows and encourages dogs, and it feels like a doggie meet-up place. It is wonderfully friendly. My Sauvignon Blancs were very good and the service is excellent. Nicely decorated for Christmas with the decor inside and lights outside. Thoroughly recommend if you’re on a walk in the park or just as a pub to visit.

Popped in for a quick bite to eat. Pub looked clean and decorated well for Halloween which was nice. We were greeted by a lovely girl called Niah who was friendly and got us a table. Rosie took our order and again was really polite and friendly. We ordered the gammon which was really good followed by sticky toffee pudding which was the best part!!!!! Great visit with really great people and great food and the food arrived in good time.

I came here with a friend and his pup, and little did I know I'd visit one of the nicest pubs and most dog friendly pub I've ever been to. On a hot Summer's day this was a great location to be, right in the centre of a park sat outside with food and many four legged friends. We only had a sandwich and a couple of drinks, but the sandwich was really nice. The nicest part about this pub are the customers and staff as everyone is very friendly, and interacting with so many dogs and their owners is the cherry on top of the cake for the great time anyone will have. Even if you're alone. I look forward to a return visit while we have so much sun, but especially in the winter for a roast at this historic ye' old stables now pub!

Went here for Sunday Roast. Food was tasty but they had run out of Yorkshire Pudding and the only thing that was hot was pigs in blanket & gravy. The rest was warm. Deserts took so long to come out that it was melted and the Erin Mess smelt gone off so we didn’t eat it and requested to get it taken off the bill which they did but brought the wrong bill in the end. Despite the chaos and long waiting times, the waiters were friendly and food was good.

Good collection of food and space, serving is fast if you order by APP, no need to wait for the queue at the till. Also good to bring your hairy friend, they are allowed in.

A big thank you to everyone at The Stables for such a wonderful lunch at our wedding celebration! The staff were very attentive and accommodating, especially Jo Jo who was extremely helpful and made us feel very welcome. Despite the pub being quite busy on a hot Friday, our lunch was served fast and to all guests at once. The Stables is definitely a place I would recommend if you are planning to get married at Danson House! Whether you choose one of the private rooms or the public area, the charm of the pub makes it an ideal spot to celebrate your big day with good food!

We hosted our wedding reception at Danson Stables back in November and had a great time. We had the full menu available to us if we wished but made the decision to select 4 starters, 4 mains and 4 desserts for guests to choose from. Not many people have Burgers or Fish and Chips on their wedding menu but we love to be different. All our guests were extremely complimentary of the food on offer and portions were very generous so everyone left very happy. With 45 Guests we had just enough space for everyone and even had a make shift dance floor. he use of the speaker system was complimentary enabling us to have music throughout and we had both confetti and sparklers in the carpark. Intimate weddings can still be fantastic. Check our the blogs on our website to see how me managed to host our wedding for £3500.

Delicious food (when the order was correct) The salad my date ordered was missing ingredients mentioned on the menu. The staff was really friendly but really inattentive. Not a good first impression for this establishment.
