Came here for the first time for lunch with my partner! Laura was our waitress and she was very friendly! She gave us a few recommendations for our lunch and we weren’t disappointed at all! Definitely will be back here again soon!

We’ve been to this pub many times throughout the last few years. The last time we went, will be the last time we go. All staff looked like they didn’t care. Just chewing gum behind the bar, looking miserable, not caring about clearing tables. Although this was the fastest the food had ever come (usually 45 minutes regardless of if there’s a wait), it was bland. Such a shame as we used to love coming here.

Had my father in law's wake here. From when we popped in to discuss what we wanted initially to the day of the wake marcin and the chef looked after us. On the day all our requests were carried out the buffet was amazing, good quality and plentiful. The venue itself was perfect. The cost was very competitive and overall faultless.

Lovely and inviting cozy interior, it feels warm and friendly in here. The food was lovely, the beer was nice n cold and the prices are reasonable. Men's toilets could do with a revamp and the garden would benefit from some additional planters to section off the areas a little. As the rear garden looks a little bit neglected, however, it's nice enough to sit and have a quiet drink or bite to eat with friends n family. The staff were lovely and welcoming, especially for customers with dogs, which is nice to see. There's a pool table too for that little something extra. We have been here many times and will continue to return as it's a well managed establishment and always a good vibe. With plenty of tables and free parking for customers, just don't forget to add your car reg on the tablet at the bar. This place would get all round 5 stars of the toilets were updated, as that's the only real let down.

A karaoke team were entertaining the customers, it was well run with some excellent vocalists giving it a go. Bar staff did not seem well versed in the art of managing a bar, basically had no clue in being friendly or polite whilst serving drinks, maybe a sign of the times as 'managed' pubs are being run by more corporate savvy types to run their pubs. The male toilets were absolutely disgusting, the pub wasn't even busy, staff were made aware but stated 'well if you can use the urinals, what's the problem'

Cheap but not great. Drinks didn’t come and after 30 minutes, we asked the barmaid who made the excuse the ticket hadn’t printed because the wifi is terrible and to wait … we asked another staff member who fetched them immediately. Food took more than 1hr30 (Sunday lunch) and was terrible. I had child portion but my partner who ordered an adult Sunday roast received the same amount of food. Loud and Larry drunks in the pub on Sunday lunch shouting and swearing (albeit not the pubs fault).

The food was mostly very nice ,although the pastry on the pie was rather hard. We went on a Wednesday lunch time and the service was a bit slow ,our meals took 30 minutes to arrive. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Ordered 2 mixed grills and the chicken was uncooked it was completely raw absolutely disgusting I would give no stars if I could, the manager took no responsibility for this and continued to say the chef cooked it to the temperature it should be fact is someone should have lost their job! Secondly my daughters meal turned up and was completely wrong not what I ordered at the bar … I will never be returning here.
