This was a great pub for a quick drink, with an old school feel from its brown and black architecture combined with the brickwork! Glass roof section is cool and the counter is well laid out, staff service was also friendly. Enjoyed a Corona Extra and cleanliness was fine, just a bit of a small pub.

Much the same as any other small town spoons really. It's noisy and there's loads of kids pissing about before 9 when they all get told to leave so the atmosphere improves after 9 It's cheap, the food is reasonable.

I visited this Wetherspoons with my assistant dog, a trained mini dachshund who assists me with anxiety, visual impairment, epilepsy, and severe asthma. Despite being legally allowed to accompany me, I was asked to leave by a staff member named Hannah, who stated that dogs weren’t allowed. I explained that she is a assistant dog, but the staff were dismissive and unhelpful. To make matters worse, Hannah then discussed the incident with other customers in earshot, saying she had to “kick me out”making me feel humiliated and targeted. This experience was upsetting and discriminatory. I hope Wetherspoons will retrain staff on the rights of disabled people and service animals under the Equality Act 2010. Everyone deserves to feel safe and respected when dining out — unfortunately, that was not the case here.

I've been here many times over the years. Definitely looking a bit tired inside. Not the worst Spoons around . Had breakfast Sunday morning, very nice, only marred by The Jeremy Kyle show kicking off at the rear of the pub

Ordered 3 meals one went to the wrong table and one item was missing and only turned when the meal was nearly finished as for the other 2 meals both should have chips but they didn't have any. One of the meals Ordered and paid for then 10 minutes or so one of the staff came to the table to say they now didn't have that meal and I had to pick another meal. All in all 3 meals not menu

Can't really fault this place. Yes there are nicer Wetherspoons you can visit, but every time I've been here the servers have been really friendly and the food's been great.

Absolutely filthy, COVID guidelines not being adhered to at all, flies everywhere, food and tables not cleared for over and hour and glasses dirty every one of them.
