Beautiful service by beautiful women. Can't wait to come back to this place. Had the footy on which created a great atmosphere. Food was sublime and mixed well with the many beers that were on selection!

We love our local pub, the food is fabulous. Donna is absolutely wonderful β warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. She really elevates the whole experience. The food was fabulous, full of flavour and beautifully prepared, and the service was top-notch from start to finish. The ambience is relaxed, cosy, and perfect for a great lunch or evening

Went to the Archers today for some lunch, fantastic service from Tom and the team, the pub was clean and tidy and was really warm with the open fire on. I had the festive burger, was really good and will definitely be back again! Highly recommend especially in the winter months as it was nice and cosy!

The Archers is an absolute gem. Tom and the team are always so friendly and welcoming β they really make you feel at home. Itβs a brilliant place to watch the football with a great atmosphere. The Sunday roasts are delicious, generous portions and perfectly cooked every time. Whether youβre stopping by for a pint, a meal, or to catch the match, The Archers never disappoints. Highly recommend!

visited the Archers with my partner for dinner and evening drinks. first time visiting and we were blown away by the service and experience we received. Our Server Tom, the Manager is a wonderful guy, very knowledgeable and friendly, my partner is lactose intolerant and they have a clever system in place to help with our dietary requirements. The food was gorgeous and the atmosphere was amazing. we were welcomed and greeted with a smile and received excellent customer service. Big Thank you and I will be highly recommending this wonderful venue to everyone.

Nice log burner. Happy staff, average prices and loads of TV screens. If you like your sports, this is the place for you. Food was good, but you did need to wait. Very popular pub

What a brilliant night! Came in as a group of school teachers looking to celebrate our OFSTED result. We was treated brilliantly and looked after by the caring and kind staff whom were willing to go above and beyond to help you enjoy your night!. The food is fantastic here and would always recommend here as they also show sport! The staff will always look after you no matter your request, nothing is too much trouble. What a beautiful pub!

The meat and veg roast dinners were disappointing. Based on the reviews I was expecting the standard to be better. Reminded me of sloppy school dinners. Unimaginative, bland and undercooked veg. Group also felt the same. The only consolation was the staff were nice and the venue was characterful and cosy. Canβt vouch for the rest of menu but would only return for a drink and to watch a sporting event on TV.

Nice pub with friendly, local, clientele and welcoming bar staff. Very clean and tidy, and has a small - but very functional, beer garden. Definitely worth a stop by if you are in the area. Sports are shown here on several well placed TVs

Review during Lockdown, July 2020: Almost felt like normal to go back to a pub again. Lovely welcome at the door from member of staff who was the monitor. The young chap explained the way it works of how to order through app. Some issues of some of the tables not appearing in the app or tickets not being closed but as this a new process for everyone quite understandable and staff kept their cool so customer service was of high level. They have tables outside - front and back. Would recommend booking if there is more than 2 of you. If you are not appy savy or the app doesn't work they still allow you to order from the bar as the app is not perfect and receipts are slow to be processed. Otherwise its super clean at all times and social distancing is being adhered to if you are looking for safe pub visit for punters of all ages over 18. They have one way system and show which tables are clean for use, just make sure your table isn't blocked for pre-booking to avoid being moved as the seating is cleaned down again. Sanitising stations available and toilets were clean during our visit. 3rd August: Archers is taking part in the Eat out to help out so don't delay...book ahead or if your local then just stop by if the app isn't working. First night out and its sad to see not many people taking up this offer but hoping people will take the plunge and get back to "normal" as its not heaving like most people believe it will be. Archers even give you the VAT off your drinks! How much more of a bargain can you get! Tables are kept clean and toilets have a system if you are worried. Have a night out and support your local pubs :)
