Another AI complaint - this is a nightmare and I gave up and lumbered my husband with contacting them. He is an IT wizz and has a skill for bypassing this useless nonsense.

Never had any problems before (over 30 years) but the introduction of AI as first port of call for telephone enquiries is a disaster!

Absolutely fantastic service, rang them a few times over my pregnancy and hospital admissions and they were great - sent out forms when requested (no idea why the comment below said they didn’t) and why such negative feedback I’ve always been able to contact a human within 10mins of waiting on the phone. They will also send me a check if needed but because I live in the middle of no where putting it in my account is a lot easier.

Been with Simply Health (initially Hospital Saturday Fund) for 52 years. Never missed a payment. I need to make a claim but struggled sending copies. Wanted to speak to a human being not a digital assistant. After trying 2 numbers which were no longer in existence, I rang a third number. The automated message said they were busy and would be put through to someone when available - I hung up after waiting 32 minutes! What has happened ringing a local number and being sent a claim form??!!!

They are now forcing customers to go paperless to save the planet which is a joke in itself, it's just a cost cutting measure and the saving the planet is a common excuse for this practice. So I decide ok I'll register, put my details in, get the email with a link to finish registration and get a message, sorry we can't proceed please check your details. I know my details are correct because I just had an email to confirm this. Tried the online digital help called Sam who was about as useful as a chocolate fireguard. Gave up in the end Will be phoning up later and insisting on being paid by cheque. Don't like giving my bank details on sites like this anyway, especially if they don't respond to a simple task like the registration process

Honestly not worth it. It used to be really good for customers with many benefits which made it a fair and worthwhile service. This has massively changed in the background without making it clear, getting customers to pay the same fee for a fraction of the service value. Save yourself the cost and go elsewhere or just pay as you go for what you need.

I have been a member for 12 months now and can't understand the views expressed in the feedback. Absolutely amazing service and each claim i have made (6) now has been paid and approved within 24hours. Mine have been routine dental and opticians appointments but saving me alot of money throughout my first year. I have claimed online each time and sent photos of my receipts, again without issue. Can't praise simply health enough.

I was a member of Simply Health for ten years. I am not sure if they have new management but the company is now a joke. You can submit claims 5 or 6 times without payment back. I have been waiting for 6 claims now for 6months total over 250pounds without success. I have chased 10times but never get an answer and they never call back. The offer of recommend a friend is not true as they dont provide any vouchers I have had to cancel my policy and go with an alternative supplier due to the poor service this organisation now offers Lost receipts rude staff Dont use them

I cancelled my subscription after being with simply health for under a year as it was costing me £500 a year even though I was only using it for a few certain things like dental appointments which I only go to twice a year so I was wasting a lot of money. When I cancelled it the last payment went out and it went out again the following month too. I rang up and explained my situation they said they would call me back to exchange my money back over after contacting somebody and they never. I've been ringing for days now and nobody is answering! I have more than one insurance on it and I want my money back! I hope somebody who works for the company see's this and decides to pick up the phone! Not happy not professional at all!

I cancelled our subscription at the end of January over the phone - not because we were dissatisfied but because benefit reductions meant we couldn't afford it any more. Our February payment was paid out of a closed account and incurred charges (it shouldn't have been requested). After giving the offending bank a few choice words I once again rang and cancelled our subscription. Today I received a letter saying I owed 2mths money. I refuse to waste any more money hanging on to a phone manned by robots until somebody answers me. We have subscribed for several years, and personally for 30yrs. It would be nice if a human being took the trouble to apologise.
