   We come here time and time again, especially in the winter, for the wonderful atmosphere - the roaring fire, the festive seasonal menu, and the fact that it’s always buzzing with life. It feels like the perfect country pub and is a joy to visit every time. What really sets this place apart, though, is the staff. They are absolutely fantastic: friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They always take the time to chat with our kids, who absolutely adore them, and that extra care makes such a difference. It turns a great meal into a brilliant experience and keeps us coming back again and again.

   It was Our first visit tonight, the atmosphere was lovely with an amazing live singer. The food was so good we had 3 courses ! And Sonia our waitress was happy, friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning there again soon. Can highly recommend

   We visited after a round of golf with a large and couldn’t have asked for a better welcome. The pub was spotless, well-kept, and had a really inviting atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely outstanding—every dish hit the mark. A fantastic spot for groups or anyone looking for great service and quality dining. Highly recommended!!

   Had a lovely lunch here with my parents. The chick, bacon and avocado salad was delicious with plenty of ingredients and a great dressing. My Dad had the Korean pizza and he said that was also delicious. Staff were super friendly and service was great too. Will definitely be back to have a roast as they looked amazing, in fact all of the food looked great.

   Really lovely staff, very dog friendly with treats, water bowls etc. Some of the food is really good, the chicken skewer is amazing, some food is sub expected (the pizzas).

   We visited the restaurant on Xmas Eve, great atmosphere. Our waitress all evening was Jo, she was really helpful when it came to knowing the menu, my husband had the lamb, which he loved, I had the sea bass and was looking forward to the flower pot afters, Jo even checked to make sure there were still some left. We didn’t just get left, but we were asked were our courses ok and whether we wanted any more drinks. A great time was had by all. Thank you

   The ease of booking, how we were greeted and the service the whole time we were there was fantastic. The food was spectacular and served with a nice space between each course and the menu choices were wide ranging. The drinks on offer were varied and delicious. The ambience of the restaurant is lovely and it was clean and nicely decorated. I have to say even the cutlery and wine glasses were spotless which is a big plus for me. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone, in fact, I’ve already told people to go!!

   Great Service, Tasty food in a cosy atmosphere. Saul served us all evening and was friendly and happy throughout. Seemed to enjoy his job. The twist on a Hunter Chicken was a delight and I absolutely adored the Black Forest Flower Pot for dessert. I would thoroughly recommend it. We were seated at a table near the back door where people went out to smoke. It did not bother us in the slightest, but there was a fresh breeze each time it opened (only 3 times all night), but if you are a person that feels the cold I would suggest requesting a seat away from it when you book. They say they will do their best to accommodate but can't guarantee. For us personally though, we couldn't fault the evening.

   We were a large party of 9. Everyone was very pleased with the quality and taste of their food. Service was good and the staff were very friendly and efficient. Only criticism would be the temperature if the lattes and cappuccinos - just lukewarm. However this did not spoil our enjoyment.

   We got the veggie burgers, starters/sides which were all good I loved the cheesy mushrooms, puddings were all good didn't really like the Eton mess. The staff were all nice and friendly, nice atmosphere, would recommend.
