Had a fantastic lunch here on a Friday afternoon. This was our first visit since being refurbished. The pub was very busy but we still managed to find a table. The staff on duty were fantastic, happy, smiling, nothing too much trouble and great attention to detail. The food was gorgeous and probably one of the best pub meals I’ve ever had. Portion size was a little bit big but the quality of the food was fantastic. No corners cut here. Definitely well worth a visit and we will be returning soon.

I come here regularly and it’s always a great experience. The food is consistently really good, fresh, and tasty, and there’s always plenty of choice. What makes it even better is the staff – they’re so friendly and welcoming, and we always get on really well with them. It feels like they genuinely care about their customers, which makes such a difference. Definitely one of my favourite places to go! Love the new layout too!

Newly refurbished pub which is part of the Sizzlers chain. The staff seemed friendly but the food was average and portions on the small side. Chairs were New or had fresh upholstery, however they were a little hard and you may not want to spend too long sat on them.

Randomly decided to land on the Travellers Home after a quick search on Google maps for breakfast located near the job site. Small but empty free car park. We recieved a friendly welcome the moment we set foot inside the main bar area. Menu's offered and instructed to order at the bar when ready, short wait for breakfast to arrive. The food.. I can be very particular when it comes to how my eggs are cooked and bacon so when my full English on a hot skillet arrives in what felt like no time at all i was pleasantly surprised and also intrigued at how black the two sausages appeared to be however due to the massive thickness it was clear the out side was not to be used to pass judgment. Unbelievable but delicious. Good size with unlimited filter coffee or tea. I recommend a visit.

Always love going to this pub for food one of the best in the area servings beautiful burgers and pub grub, last time I had booked a table for valentine's day but on arriving was told we have be quick as they shutting the kitchen as they been busy and over ran but restaurant was empty only few tables taken, but they still took our order. Ordered the mega mix grill didn't wait to long for our food and the meal was lovely expeshly the chicken, didn't like the stake to much as wasn't cooked to what I asked for and was bit chewy to what normally is. Staff are friendly with service at the bar and the pub is clean and homely with plenty of seating. Prices are reasonable costing around £10-£15 a person.

I had fish and chips for lunch. Fish was nicely fried and the batter was excellent. The chips were a bit dry. This meal came with a portion of peas. Deco is typical pub interior and is clean. Staff were pleasant enough. All in all a decent pub with nice food. My friend had Gammon and chips, she really enjoyed the gammon but also though the chips were a bit dry. Price was appropriate for the fayre. Parking is easy.

Welcoming and cosy, I've been lucky enough to enjoy dinner here twice now in as many weeks. Somewhere my partner and I have driven past of numerous occasions on our way to gigs, we finally decided to pop in and see what it was like. The staff are very friendly, the decor and atmosphere is relaxing and the food is phenomenal. Both times we have had the fried chicken to start. Vin loves the surf and turf and I throughly enjoyed the fajitas the first time we dined there - and then the roast beef dinner last Sunday. With awesome puddings and cocktails to choose from - we've left with very full bellies after both visits. With parking onsite, coloring activities available for the kiddies and very reasonably priced/collectable toys for the kids to purchase, children can enjoy their time at The Travellers Home as well as the Mum's and Dad's. Really nice restaurant. We like it so will definitely return again soon.
