   I took my Audi TT to SOLO Automotive for a minor service and to have the number plate light replaced today. Even though I supplied the part myself, Ash was more than happy to fit it and handled everything professionally. They stuck to the exact time agreed and returned the car to me the same day, which I really appreciated. Ash was friendly, honest and clearly knowledgeable, and the whole experience felt smooth and hassle-free. It’s reassuring to find a mechanic and a garage you can genuinely trust.    Had a really positive experience here. I needed some parts replaced on my car, and they were ordered from the manufacturer, and then fitted within 24 hours—super quick and efficient. Ash was polite, easy to talk to, and always picked up the phone or called back promptly. He took the time to listen to the issues I was having and was happy to talk through the possible solutions. Unlike other garages, he kept the old parts so I could inspect them before binning. Great service all around—definitely recommend!

   I took my Ateca to Ash for a coolant pump replacement after noticing a leak. He managed to fit me in at very short notice, and all the parts used were original manufacturer components. Ash took the time to explain the damage to the failing pump, and the detailed paperwork included a full breakdown of the work carried out, along with a warranty. I’ve always relied on franchise dealerships for servicing, but this unexpected issue led me to Ash—and I can confidently say the quality of his workmanship and service far exceeded that of most dealerships.    Great service, affordable prices, personal touch - Ash takes the time to explain the issue to you. An honest garage with integrity - won't rip you off which is how I felt about the official garages/dealerships I used to take my car (story below) Previously, I took my car to a SEAT main dealer for a minor service. They found a number of issues and the quote to fix it was just too far out of what I could afford, however I had to have my cam belt fixed as it had been worn. I found Ash through google, his quote was fair and reasonable. He performed good quality work, spent the time explaining the problem and solution with me. I found out he offers the same servicing but far cheaper than main dealer so will be going to him in the future! Win win

   Quick MOT turn around and good advice during our first visit. Then we used him again for a car service after… he uses genuine car parts and high quality oil to do our yearly service. You can also see the car being worked on and he explains what he is doing for those who know little about cars. He is very approachable. Price is very fair for the quality service… if you want cheap materials they don’t last long like the last place who serviced our car so we think it’s worth the price … also compared some other garages it’s not ridiculously steep. He is professional and takes pride in work. .. we are thankful we found an honest mechanic. We will return to do air conditioning cleaning next month. Thank you for your help Ash.

   Superb engineer that spotted the problem on my vw sharan after checking it thoroughly. This was the third garage my car was taken to. In the first garage the engineer said the cam belt jumped.The second garage's engineer couldn't find what the problem was and was saying that it could be an electrics issue. But definitely the engineer in this garage was 100% accurate as detected immediately the mechanical problem, which was the dual mass flywheel. Thank you so much for your help⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
