   Arrived with my wife., and left car at Halfords promptly at 8.30 for a Major service and MOT Bundle.,costing nearly £400.,To be greeted with no smiles or welcome.When we got back home.,checked there online service Tracker 10 hours later,stating the Car is still in Prep.stage.So I decide to phone instead. Gentlemen says car is ready for pickup???.So I arrive at Halfords.,and now there online service Tracker says car is ready for pickup???.Still no smiles or Welcome as i pick up car.,and check the online invoice.No indepth info.on such a major service at all,just a 2 page general overview. Yes i admit you are a very busy company. But total customer service and communication., is nothing short of vital.,and costs your company nothing at all.A very Dismal experience indeed.,for me and my wife.UPDATE:After the nearly £400.Major service completed.I inspected the new air filter fitted.lifted it up,only to find that Halfords could not be bothered to remove the dust and dried out leaves,before putting on the new filter.It would have took them 1minute to remove the debris,which could block the airflow and render the new filter useless!Halfords must be so busy they could not be bothered to do a proper job.SHOCKINGLY CARELESS WORK!!!

   Not even one star. Avoid this place if you DO NOT want to waste your money and time. Very unprofessional and lazy workers. They do not inspect nor do jobs properly and say everything is ok and for you to later find that there are still some problems. When you confront, they make excuses and still not do what they are being paid for. Honestly, would advise anyone to pay extra and find a better autocentre.

   AVOID this garage at any costs, specially if you are a woman. They will carry our unauthorised works on your vehicle you did not approve or ask for! In my case, my car passed MOT on first attempt (they did not tell me, but I checked GOV UK website), then imposed me a 500 pound bill on unessential works, such as bolts for my tyres and tyre sealant material! They dismissed my complaint and the case is with the ombudsman now! Please avoid this garage at any costs! You have been warned!

   I had a very disappointing experience with Halfords Hounslow. I was charged £750 for an MOT and interim service, which included changing the front discs. The next day, when I brought my car home, I noticed a loud noise coming from the front wheel. I called them the next morning and was told to bring the car in the next day. When I did, they claimed there was an issue with the suspension and that they didn’t have the spare parts needed which would cost an additional approximately £300. I took the car back and decided to get a second opinion from a local mechanic — and I’m glad I did. The local mechanic found that the brake pads hadn’t been fitted properly. He fixed the issue in just a few minutes and only charged £20. I feel completely let down by Halfords. Not only did they charge an excessive amount, but they also returned my car in an unsafe condition. I won’t be going back, and I’d strongly recommend others avoid this branch.

   One of the worst amateur tyre fitting service I have ever seen. My 4 year old would do a better job. If this is how they fit a tyre, I wonder what happens under the bonnet during a service. Absolute bunch of cowboys. Keep away!!!

   I got a full service package booked with this Halfords centre in Hounslow costing almost £250. The centre lacks everything from customer service to the service that was done to my car. Absolutely lacks client service knowledge and most importantly my car was left with a bad smell, oil staines and scratches inside. I was told I would be informed once the car was ready while in parallel I was checking the status online. I took a chance and reached the centre only to find my car standing outside while the online status said it was being serviced. I go inside and ask the status only to be told "Ah yes, the car is ready but there is some paper work to be done". Then starts the saga of some issue that they found, however I was told I would need to book a separate appointment for diagnostics and repair. Well isn't it why the car came for a full service? Thorough useless when it comes to speaking to clients. I would never ever go here again. Save your money, please go find a friendly neighborhood mechanic/garage.

   Exceptional Team at Halfords Auto Centre. Josh and the team exceeded on service delivery. Had a full manufacturer service for my Porsche Cayenne the service quality and customer service was second to none. They genuinly wants to look after their customers hoping they will return, I certainly will. Stewart was brilliant, he went beyond what was expected. These guys are simply honest, reliable, excellent, courteous, efficient and they go the extra mile.Would highly recommend them to anyone.
