    I have visited this store a few times now and as a reader find it a great place to purchase my books especially recent releases. The store itself is open bright and clean with plenty of stock the staff are always friendly and welcoming and will help if they can they also do a rewards card where you can collect points on purchases and get vouchers off future purchases overall I am impressed with this store and will continue to buy my book from them.

    I've been in a lot of these shops and they are all ok, BUT this one in Chesterfield has to be the best so far. The staff were happy and bubbly they were chatting and laughing with customers. The store lay out was by far the easiest to get round for my wife on her mobility scooter. All in all well deserved 5 stars. Well done The works Chesterfield.

    The Works is so much better now it's moved to a larger shop. It feels spacious and airy, a vast improvement on the previous store that I found to be cramped. Good selection of books when I visited although it does seem that stock levels can vary from week to week. Staff polite and friendly. A lovely clean shop with defined areas mapped out which I like in a shop.

    There are often a good selection of heavily discounted books, stock changes dramatically, the sort of place you have to keep checking frequently to see what they have. I've picked up well known authors for £1. Only downside is lack of space, but understandable for the value.
