Ordered a headlight yesterday which was collected and fitted the very next day. I was served this afternoon by a young black male staff member (sorry I didnβt catch his name) who was quick, efficient, and fixed my headlight perfectly. Great service overall thank you!!

I booked in for a bulb change this morning at Chingford Halfords. I attended at allotted time and a very kind and helpful young man whoβs name I failed to get changed the bulb quickly and efficiently and with no judgment at my attempted bodge job! Very impressed with whole process.

I would like to file a complaint regarding the extremely poor service I experienced today at your store located in Walthamstow, London. The staff working there clearly showed visible dissatisfaction with having customers present. I witnessed laziness, dishonesty, and a complete lack of professionalism all at once. I brought with me a bicycle that I purchased from another branch three years ago and have always had repaired at the Ford branch. Today, I requested some repairs on the bike, but the situation was unnecessarily complicated in a very unpleasant way. The first salesperson initially quoted me a repair cost of Β£179 but then said he wasnβt sure if the mechanic would agree to fix it. I found this strange. He left and then returned saying the mechanic would come and tell me what he would do. I waited for more than half an hour. Then a second person arrived with a very sinister smile and started telling me that my bike was old and it would be better to buy a new one rather than repair it, which would cost over Β£350. I told him the first person had quoted me around Β£179, but he responded that he was the one responsible for repairs. I understood that they did not want to repair the bike. I urge you to monitor this branch closely because I noticed many concerning issues. The company pays for the service, yet the employees do not work properly. Extremely efficient service! Yes, getting your part fitted does make the purchase significantly more expensive, especially on such a cheap item like headlights, but I was in and out within 15 minutes, car all ready to go! Iβll be back for sure

We were served by Elliot a friendly young man who immediately engaged with us and was positively invested in our needs. We were returning a steering lock which we felt was not really doing what we wanted, this was no issue to him, he came outside to see the car and we explained exactly what our problem was, he then came back with a different model, attached it, showed us the security angle of the item which we felt did the job and we bought it. Next we wanted a car seat he then spent over 15 minutes going through all the different aspects of the modelβs on display and guiding us through the changes our grandchildren would go through and which model would best suit our needs, all in all a great experience so well done to both Elliot and Halfords for having staff like this who give shoppers the help and expertise they need and which is unfortunately lacking at a lot of other retailers

Giving a 5 star review for Sam and Max at Chingford Store. They turned what would have been a zero star rating experience round. I rang the simply awful offshore customer service line which is a total oxymoron. I wanted the brakes repaired, I was booked in yesterday. I took time off work and dropped it in then was called back and told nothing could be done for 3 weeksβ¦ as there were no repairers employed over Christmas, which I had been told at the outset I would have gone somewhere else. Sam saw me walking out forlornly with the unfixed bike and asked what was wrong, given it was quiet she asked Max to look at the bike there and then and the brakes were fixed within the hour. Simple common sense approach completely changed my view. Halfords management if you read this you need to overhaul your customer service line. It must put more people off than it helpsβ¦.

I went into Halfords Chingford to get some advice re buying a roof box and bars. I was served by Brandon, who spent a fair amount of time telling me relevant options after looking at my car and listening to my needs. I felt that I was being properly served and was a valued customer. I did not intend to buy today but given all the information I made a Β£400+ purchase. Thank you Brandon
