Long review but its needed I think! I cannot speak highly enough of the exceptional service provided by Carla at Body Conscious. From the outset many years ago when I first came to the salon her professionalism, efficiency, and calming presence immediately put me at ease. Waxing can naturally be an uncomfortable or even embarrassing experience, but Carlas very friendly, respectful and reassuring manner completely removes any sense of awkwardness. What truly stood out to me recently was how she handled my 14-year-old daughter’s first waxing appointment. Understandably, she was nervous, but the Carla took the time to explain the process clearly and gently, ensuring my daughter felt informed, safe, and comfortable throughout. By the end of the session, my daughter was visibly relieved and commented on how much easier and less intimidating it was than she had expected. The level of care, discretion, and expertise offered at Body Conscious is second to none. I trust Carla completely and will not consider going anywhere else for waxing services. Her skill and compassionate approach truly sets her apart. The prices for treatments are very good and are worth every penny! I am always a very very happy customer at the end of every appointment.
I needed a pick-me up treatment and booked the September offer (LpG treatment with facial). I am so happy I was in the experienced hands of Carla! She made me feel so comfortable, and I left feeling more refreshed than I could have hoped. I will definitely book again soon!
Had the holiday package done by Carla, she made me feel so comfortable. Never have had a wax done before and I felt nervous about feeling exposed before I went however I felt so comfortable there never worried while I was there. Pain wasn’t as bad I thought I’ll definitely be coming back again, really recommend x

All the girls are lovely, especially Emma who always goes above and beyond to get my nails perfect :) I would thoroughly recommend for any sort of nail treatments or spray tan.
