   Booked my MOT some weeks ago. I received confirmation and later reminders. Everything was exactly described as to start and finish times and further email advising ready to collect. Excellent service and communication and will make Halfords my regular team.

   Had mot done in April, and passed with the same two advisor's as last year. They could have told me the advisor's needed doing, as some other garages would, but were honest enough to pass my car. Always polite and helpful. While I was waiting for my mot, a customer called about his brakes. He was told that no work needed doing, and there would be no charge for cleaning around the brakes. As I said, honest.

   Incredibly friendly and professional guy on reception. He informed me they were slightly behind schedule but would be able to have the work completed in under an hour. I asked what would happen if I was a little bit late back to collect my car and he said not to worry, he would hang around after close until I made it back (luckily he didn't need to do this!) The lovely guys who returned my car and paperwork was very friendly too, it feels like they each enjoy what they do and appreciate the importance of good customer service. First time I've used them but will definitely use again in the future!

   Hassle free booking, manager was very welcoming and diligent and did compensate for a fluid not being topped up after his employee had forgotten. Had to wait on a supplier for a fuel filter, however was made very comfortable by friendly staff. Overall a satisfying experience, however in my opinion prices are a bit high.

   I contact the main dealer after experiencing an engine running issue on my way to work. The main dealer had a two week wait for bookings so I tried Halfords on the off chance they would be able to take a look. To person I spoke with on reception was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They booked the car in for the same morning and within a couple of hours my car was repaired and ready to collect. The cost of the repair was also less than I expected. Very satisfied!!

   Had to take my car for a health check for a warranty I was buying. The staff were ready for me and seemed friendly and helpful. I asked for my car to be first on the ramp, this was done and the job carried out well and in good time. Complimentary drinks machine was a welcome bonus on a cold autumn morning. All in all a good experience, the health check was more in depth than I thought and took longer than advised by the warranty supplier, if you are taking your car for this reason allow just over an hour.
