   Had a fantastic experience with my local Halfords in Watford. Car service and MOT. Got all previous services done at Vauxhall dealer for 10 years. Tried this and the first experience is really good. There are discounts for premium service members. Turned out to be very less pricey compared to the dealer. So far so good.

   Did a major hybrid service. And disappointed which the information they provided in the invoice & vehicle check report. - No mention of Brake fluid change in the invoice. - No information on tyres. - No reports on what supposed to be reported as per service description. Rang the centre the same day to ask for the missing information and got the answer "this is the only thing we provide to customer". This is way far from enough for maintenance record. I cant even tell if they've done my requested service to my car at all without any proof / records.

   I went to the garage today for MOT. Initially the engine light showed up and so the MOT was failed. Immediately I was annoyed and was wondering if not going to the car's manufacturer dealer was a bad shout as the car had never failed MOT. In fact I had just done a service + full car check up elsewhere a week ago with everything coming up as A-ok. So mentioned that to Jay - the assistant manager. He suggested having diagnostics done by them (or elsewhere) and that may help remove the engine light and a re-test may pass it. Though no guarantees! And he tried to investigate if he could fit me in - which was appreciated. Chris - the customer service assistant was also friendly. But then Ilyas - the MOT Tester - he came to the rescue. When I explained the above to him, he just said give me 5 mins. He just came back then saying the engine light's gone off and will do a re-test. And voila - test passed. So really appreciative of the entire team being helpful, open and trying to help. Ilyas for me was the star / life saver.

   Halford’s were fantastic and really efficient. I arrived 15min early and I believe Ethan was ready to get started on the car immediately! He was really informative and extremely helpful when telling me about the car. The staff were really polite all round

   Went to Halfords Autocentre Watford for a free battery check. I was seen to straight away and couldn't have asked for better service first, from the receptionist and then the technician who diagnosed the issue and then offered invaluable and unbiased advice. I would highly recommend Halfords and won't hesitate to use their services again.

   I had my MOT done at Halfords Autocentre Watford and can’t speak highly enough of the team there! As a female in her 20’s who knows literally nothing about cars, I’m always nervous taking it in for a test but Richard and the team were so friendly and welcoming. The MOT was super quick and thankfully had no issues, they also helped me sign up for the Members Club, overall a really good experience, I would recommend!

   Took our car to this supposedly professional garage. Professional couldn't be further from what these people really are. We were quoted £900 to investigate a supposedly leaking cylinder head gasket and IF it needed a new gasket it would cost a further £1500. These so called mechanics must be on extremely low wages and encouraged to find faults that DON'T EXIST. It actually turned out to be a faulty thermostat. Very dishonest people.
