   Great place, our 3 year old grandson really enjoyed his couple of hours there. Lots of toys, good soft climbing area and very big sandpit. Not too busy either. Food very nice and reasonably priced with a very good selection. If you’re at a loose end with little grandchildren it’s a good place to fill a few hours.

   Nice little play centre, keeps my kids entertained and not too big that you cannot keep an eye on them. There is decent size climbing bit, indoor sandpit and sensory room. Food and drink is reasonably priced and very tasty. There is also a fresh selection of cakes, recommend the lemon cookie dough cake

   Our little one loves coming here - the playmill is certainly more suited to younger children which is no bad thing because it caters accordingly and the equipment is ideal for younger children. Drinks and food are fantastic also!

   We recently had our 3 year olds birthday party at the play mill and couldn’t praise them highly enough. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating when our numbers changed, the food was fantastic, plentiful and everyone was really accommodating. The venue is perfect for parties for small children and my son loves it there and feels really comfortable and safe. Thanks everyone, we had a brilliant time!

   We’ve been to the Play Mill twice now while staying with parents and really love it. In my view a good softplay is not a huge one, but one that has lots of elements for children to explore without constant adult supervision (I.e having to crawl around after them!). Oh and a cafe for adults! So for me the Play Mill is perfect. The softplay is small but fun, and the big sandpit and ride on toys are such winners. The sensory room is also fab. I love the little activity areas - train track, kitchen in the sandpit. Only thing my 3 year old said she’d like is a small world area - dolls, dressing up - and some pots and pans in the play kitchens… but that’s being incredibly picky and she was happy to pretend. The food is also very good! Highly recommend, we look forward to returning.

   First time here yesterday as we had our 3 year old grandson staying with us. What a lovely find - great for younger children. He loved the huge sandpit and although the soft play is quite small it is very well designed. Lots of bikes and toys to play with and nursery rhymes playing. Friendliest staff ever, really impressed with the younger members of staff who were so polite and lovely with the children. An enjoyable couple of hours and lovely food in the cafe.

   So brilliant! A great place to take toddlers (especially on a rainy day in the peak district!) So much for them to do - including a sandpit and ride on's but well designed so they're not really out of your sight (great if you have 2 or more kids). The food is really good too and everything is really reasonably priced. Staff very friendly and it's nice and warm (we went in the winter). A fantastic 2 hr session :)

   I had forgotten what a great place this was. Used to go all the time with my boys, now 10 & 8. Had a friends 3 children for the weekend and so took them there, 7, 5 and 1. Great big climb in sandpit, nice soft play area, not too big so you can see your little ones all the time. Fantastic value too, £4 to get in! One coffee, one Cappuccino and one jug of juice £3.98!! We didn't ear there today, but all home cooked food. Highly recommend this for smaller children. Thanks for many years of fun....
