If I could add a 0 star rating I would. The lack of care by 4 solicitors i dealt with for my purchase is unbelievable. One person left the company and no one took over my account, others keep passing the account from person to person with nothing being done, no handover between staff whatsoever. Only after weeks of chasing i was told a new trainee solicitor was taking over my file. I've been chasing for weeks, so has the seller solicitors and there has been radio silence from Miah Solicitors. No one is taking accountability for the lack of service they provide. Despite me requesting documentation to be shared, nothing has been done for months. They're impossible to get hold of and keep ignoring my calls, emails and even other party's solicitors calls/emails. How can you complete on purchase if they're unresponsive? I am truly shocked as to how they are able to trade with the lack of service they provide.
I would like to share our experience with the Miah solicitor group, it was disaster. They handled our case to buy our property, unfortunately they give us the worsted experience. Since from the beginning if I had a question or any regards I couldn't reach them. They didn't answering for the phone call, for the emails after 5-10 days to get any answer. Our purchase was taking 6 and half month, because I was chasing them almost every day, if I didn't call them or email to them they haven't done anything. With a normal solicitor who's doing there job it could be done our purchase in 4 month. So we lost two and half month. In the beginning they give us a qoute with no hidden fee's, is not true... In the end we supposed to pay extra £950 because it was some hidden fee's what we didn't know about the purchase and also they charge extra fee for their service. I really was thinking where is my fee, because I was spending hours to chase them to work. Our solicitor it was ZK I can't say any good things about her. Until I didn't complained about the service provided and didn't mention will go to the ombudsman they didn't take our case seriously.
I am facing the prospect of becoming homeless within days as a result of this company. They are not providing a timely service in arranging the completion of my pending house purchase. I had given 4 weeks notice of terminating my current tenancy and this company are fully aware of my situation. They no longer answer their phones either.
Firm of incompetent unethical time wasting rip off merchants. They can drive anybody insane. Prefer choice of5 red stars,
Getting in contact with the right person is difficult. Getting return calls is not easy. Disappointing.
