It was such a pleasure to meet Amy, my stylist — she’s absolutely lovely and did an amazing job on my hair! The salon itself is beautiful (even the toilets are nice!), and you can really tell how much care goes into every detail. My hair looks fantastic, and I’ve definitely found a hidden gem.
I just had the most beautiful, relaxing facial with Rachael in her room at Tusk! What a beautiful salon and the treatment by Rach was just gorgeous! She’s wonderful! Highly recommend!
Been coming to Amy for years. The whole team are amazing. Such a beautiful place with the best stylist. I have recommended her to so many people. Exceptional at what she does and the best customer service complete with a hot drink and a cheeky biscuit thrown in.
Amy was lovely and so patient with my 5 year old son who is sometimes nervous about getting haircuts. It’s the quietest and most chilled he’s ever been. We love his cut and he especially loved the biscuits. My husbands hair cut also looks lovely. Will definitely be back!
Stacie is one of the best hairdressers I’ve ever had….caring and always listens to what I’m wanting and she has my hair in the best condition it’s ever been……love the setting too Tusk has a great atmosphere and good customer service
Absolutely gr8 experience yet again at Tusk with Amy. Went in feeling low, downbeat & jaded, came out calm, relaxed, rejuvenated and looking like a new woman with another fab cut from Amy, So pleased yet again. Cannot fault the personal attention, attention to detail and aesthetic experience. Highly Recommend Tusk, I wouldn't want to go anywhere else for my Hair.
I cannot believe I am writing this but my deeply disappointing experience just now compels me to do so. I speculatively dropped by to enquire about prices and possibly book a hair appointment as a friend of mine is a client of this salon - so it came highly recommended. I walked in and began to look at the prices and politely took a seat in what is a most beautiful salon. There was no one else waiting to be seen. The two stylists were busy with other ladies - but not once did they look up to me and say “I’ll be with you in a minute” or “are you ok?” I sat patiently, with a smile on my face, for 15 minutes, wondering if anyone would acknowledge me - let alone come over and speak to me. Surely, I thought, someone will acknowledge me shortly. But the clock kept ticking and I was still waiting for someone to even say hello to me. The moment I realised I wasn’t going to be acknowledged at all was when another lady arrived for her appointment and took a seat next to me. She was kindly greeted and one of the stylists came to her, warmly welcomed her, and said she’d be with her in a minute. It was clear at this point I was being ignored. No one had any intention of speaking to me or welcoming me. I politely left but made it known to the customer who had just walked in that I had patiently sat waiting for 15 minutes without a welcome or even an acknowledgment that I was even there. I have been left deeply disappointed by a salon that I was so excited to visit having come highly recommended. It is clearly very beautiful and I admire the botanical theme, but my experience has left me feeling invisible, unworthy of this salon’s time, and quite frankly, dampened my day. It doesn’t take a lot to say, “Hello, can I help you?”

This place is my Oasis of calm. Amy The ton is a talented and versatile hairdresser and her cuts never fail to give the WOW factor. Thus salon benefits from excellent beauty therapies and a holistic care log cabin which boasts experienced staff and organic products. It is like having a day at the Spa... Without the painful price tag. Lovely variety of refreshments offered and all the staff make you feel so welcome and at home. I am going back on Saturday and will post some pictures of te exquisite interior. Really love this place
