   As a solo diner I generally visit The Lodge once a week. The staff are always welcoming and friendly especially Lisa who always goes above and beyond to ensure that my visit is a pleasant and enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend The Lodge to anyone. All the team and the food are second to none. I thoroughly enjoy and look forward to my weekly visits. Thank you once again to Lisa x

   Found on the map as in the area. Massive yet reasonablyn well kept pub. Very quiet . After 2 full kitchen service available as advertised. Wish my mash had been a little more moist. (Recent convert to mash and ordered in order to feed child). Staff all pleasant. Hugh outdoor play area .imagine place mobbed at weekend and ig screen sporting events. Few staff.but all friendly and helpful. Downside for some. Very steep exit to outside so nos suitable for disabled and small children. Toilets also a tight fit but changing facilities at front of venue .disabled ramp.for entrance. In countryside

   Great pub with really friendly staff. The food wasn't great at all, my falafel burger was kind of microwaved and the bread bun had been in the microwave too long, and it went hard. They got the order wrong, but soon sorted it out so it was a great positive experience from the staff. However, such a shame about my food. Unfortunately I wouldn't go back, however, my friend who had the beef, said his was amazing. Again, the serving staff were amazing.

   My family went here for dinner to celebrate my son's birthday. We had a 3 year old in tow too. The service was excellent and the food arrived in a reasonable time. It was hot and tasty. The sharing platters are devine! The extra care and attention given to our 3 year old was great and she enjoyed the experience as much as we did. Very highly recommended for a family meal out.

   Awful! Not a great atmosphere when you walk in, abit unfriendly to be honest. Carpark was like an ice rink (went during freezing weather), staff member said "dont bother sitting near the radiator as they dont work". It was really chilly in the pub and my visit to the loo felt like I'd walked into the Arctic. Food was alright up to the point I found a hair (and not a small one at that). Server didnt seem fazed by it, she took the plate away and offered a complimemtary desert. Whilst there heard another table complaining and a further table also sending food back. Looks nice from the outside, shame about inside. Wont be going back there again.....ever!

   Been here several times now and always had a good experience. Food is tasty, excellent value, and always hot. Staff are brilliant and friendly; the effort put into Halloween costumes and decorations was great. Would certainly recommend The Lodge.

   Very friendly staff, food was the standard affair for a flaming grill and as always the Ice Breaker on draft was good. Little tired in side but overall a pleasant experience.
