   The food was not the best we have had, the pigs in blankets I added in as an extra,were hard which was disappointing. The staff are really good though which was nice to see, staff who were happy to be there ( or appeared to be). The atmosphere was nice, and we would go back for a drink in the summer, but maybe not food.

   This place was interesting. The food, was mediocre, some elements were delicious, some were solemn and depressing. But, let me begin with the service. Was absolutely shocking. Walked round with a frown, practically dropped the plates on the table, was rude, confrontational and incredibly impatient. The gammon and egg ordered for someone I was with came without the egg, and when she asked who ordered gammon and no egg, no one replied as no one did order that, she came back with a dirty look and said ‘just take it and i’ll bring the egg’.    Very good experience. Food is fairly priced with many of menu options. Staff friendly. Great beer garden when it's sunny. Quiz is shocking but other than that all positive.

   Visited today and was very impressed with the food quality, presentation, and flavor—it was outstanding! However, I’m giving it 4 stars because although the food was excellent, we had to ask for our drinks as they weren’t ready, which meant a bit of a wait. That said, the place had a lovely, cozy atmosphere overall.

   Went for lunch with a friend. Food and service was great. Friendly and helpful staff. Large outdoor area and dog friendly. Love this pub. I've actually been going to the plough since 1976 and it's always been a lovely place. I'd recommend it any day of the week.

   We went here for some afternoon tea and was greeted and given a table quickly. We have visited before a few years back and this time the menu had changed. I had a 16oz rump steak and it was cooked to perfection. The peppercorn sauce was lovely and my kids meals were also terrific. The chefs and owners should be proud of the food. We won't leave it so long to be back next time.

   Brilliant family pub came in for my daughters birthday meal with all the family 23 of us. Food absolutely lovely can't fault it at all, management and staff cant do enough to make you feel welcome, lovely family environment. Thanks kyle and staff for a brilliant afternoon. Highly recommended

   Excellent meal, lovely pint. A bit of a wait to put my food order in at the bar (over 10 minutes) (if your disabled like me I advise get Greene King app and order from your table), the pub was about a quarter full. Lots of other activities and entertainments.

   We stopped here for lunch on our way to Scotland. A beautiful village pub. Big car park with overflow parking. Outside seating is nice. Friendly and efficient staff. Drinks and food arrived within 20 minutes. Gammon on skillet and Sunday Roast Beef were delicious and filling, top value for money. We made the right decision to have a nice relaxing meal here rather than the busy motorway services. Locals were also friendly. I will not hesitate stopping here again.
