I really enjoyed the observational drawing course with tutor Lisa and I learnt so much. It has given me the skills, and most importantly the confidence, to take up drawing for pleasure. Also, being with a lovely group of learners made it such a pleasure. I will definitely be going on more courses.
I attended my first workshop today at Straight Curves, making a pottery gonk with Vicky. Throughly enjoyed the afternoon, and look forward to future workshops.
I really enjoyed the portraiture course. In just 5 weeks I feel that I've learned enough of the basics to know where to start with a portrait. Lisa was a great teacher, and the group were all friendly. I would definitely recommend this course
I have just finished a crochet for beginners course. It was fantastic, I have learnt so much and really enjoyed attending. Karen was friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I was one of a group of 6, everyone had different capabilities but that didn't matter. Definitely would recommend the course to anyone.
Just finished a 'sewing for beginners' course. It was really, really enjoyable. It is a great environment with a nice group size (4 people) and a very knowledgeable and creative tutor. The course went at a really nice pace and was very relaxed. I'll miss not going on Sunday's.
Just finished a Wet /needle felting course.Carol is a lovely ,friendly and very helpful tutor.Had the best time EVER!! Highly recommended. Hoping to join the next course.
Overlocker driving licence one to one with Alison... absolutely brilliant! The hour went by so quickly and learnt so much...left feeling lots more confident with my overlocker. Alison was so patient and helpful. Would highly recommend this.
Fantastic place to visit, so much variety, there really is something for everybody. My daughter loves the Jumping Clay sessions and we were regulars at Little Creatives before she started school. Wonderful staff, so friendly and helpful. Straightcurves is most definitely a home away from home!
I have done quite a few workshops at Straight Curves and always found them brilliant ! As a teacher myself all I can say is the tuition and support given is great and I always have lots of fun! I've also recently done a couple of 1:1 sessions which are equally as good. Cannot recommend Straight Curves enough! Thanks ladies.
