Very beautiful gallery. It’s free and was not crowded. It is very well maintained as well.

A lively Gallery at the heart of the city, vlose to station and city centre. There's always something going on. Has a cute shop, good cafe and toilet facilities. Events and exhibitions run all year round. Really good and welcoming staff. I had the pleasure of working with them for an art installation for one of their exhibitions and the experience was good.

Millennium Gallery is a small but well curated collection in central Sheffield. We accessed it through the Winter Garden. Entrance is by donation. The gallery is informative and well signed. While our visit wasn’t long (under an hour) it was well worth our time. There is also a lovely gift shop. Exhibits and gift shop both tell some of the history and culture of the city. It was a great stop before seeing a show, as it’s right next to the theatre.

Close to the Sheffield theatres and accessible from the Sheffield Winter Gardens, the Millenium Gallery is a small but very well curated space with some permanent and some temporary exhibitions all situated to one side of the Gallery. The space also includes a small shopping area with books, prints, jewellery and more for sale. The staff are lovely! Well worth a visit if you are in Sheffield for even a short period.

Always some interesting temporary exhibitions as well as long term collections. I have been to Feel Good Art Club here which is a lovely relaxed evening. Good spot to spend a bit of time with visiting friends or family.

Millennium Gallery is an arts and crafts museum in Sheffield that features permanent and temporary exhibitions, the former mostly devoted to the city's long and distinguished history on decorative and industrial silverware production. The temporary exhibit during my latest visit (February 2023) was a somewhat broadly defined collection of national and international paintings on the relationship between artists and the sea. Interesting enough, certainly in combination with the permanent collection and the adjacent Winter Gardens. Entry is free, photography is allowed. Just a five-minute walk from Sheffield Station, it's definitely worth a visit when you're in town.

Enjoyed the displays about Sheffield and other metalwork. Also a current display of football related art. Access through the winter gardens, which contains tropical plants and the Sheffield shop. All free entry.

Interesting arts, craft and design gallery in the centre of Sheffield and beside the Winter Garden. There's a great exhibition on metalwork and the steelwork that made Sheffield famous. They have a cafe, shop, toilets and hold events like tours and life drawing. It's a relatively small gallery, but worth the visit.
