We were recommended The Rooms of Knutsford when we needed an assessment for our son. Emma carried out the screening and she was amazing, she instantly made our son feel comfortable and confident throughout. We were given an update and summary of the report after a few weeks and then the full report (which is extremely detailed) the report has helped us understand our child better and highlights all of his strengths as well as the areas which needs help/support, this will help him navigate through his whole life from school to work as an adult, we couldn’t be happier with the service Emma and the rooms has provided and we highly recommend to anyone seeking help for their children.
Highly recommend the team at The Rooms of Knutsford who assessed my daughter for ASD, ADHD and general learning difficulties earlier this year. The whole process was done in under 8 weeks and by the 12th week I had the full diagnosis and reports for my daughter confirming what I had believed. We selected The Rooms to carry out ASD & ADHD assessments for our 11 year old daughter who had been struggling for some time - we were told the CAHMS waiting list was at least 54 weeks so researched private options. 4 months on the assessments are completed, we have a diagnosis and more importantly our daughter was involved in every step of the process (she actually enjoyed it). Our daughter has continued talking to a CBT therapist arranged through The Rooms and is the happiest I’ve ever seen her. She has her spark back. Every single member of the team we’ve dealt with has been phenomenal and professional and explained everything to us thoroughly. I cannot recommend them enough.
My teenage daughter has been a client of Lucy Kornecki at The Rooms for a considerable period. Lucy's care and support has been immense and invaluable, I could not recommend her highly enough. The Rooms of Knutsford were very efficient in their response to my enquiry. I received an appointment within days and we had confidence in the therapist straight away. Our sessions have now come to an end and the difference it has made to our family is immense.

However, it was a very disappointing experience - I agree with another reviewer here about the emphasis being on money rather than caring about the patients. Despite numerous requests dating back to January, the psychologist has failed to produce a report which is needed for an education and health care plan. Excuses were made but still no report has been completed and my emails are now being ignored. I copied in the Manager and have had no response from her either. At £90 per session, it's shocking that they treat people in this way. They seem to lack any idea of how stressful it is for families when a relative is suffering, and obviously couldn't care less. I certainly wouldn't recommend using them.
