   Today I had my hair cut at Lynn Isherwood Hair by the lovely Lauren. It was my first haircut following brain surgery and I can't sing the praises of all the team highly enough. I was apprehensive at first as there's a significant scar on the back of my head which I'm self conscious of but my worries instantly melted away when I was greeted cheerfully at the door. I discussed with Lauren what I wanted in terms of style and she listened and suggested suitable ideas to fit my needs. She was kind, respectful and gentle. I instantly felt relaxed with her and knew I was in good hands! Then I was taken to have my hair shampooed by a delightful young lady who's name currently evades me I'm ashamed to say, and she took such good care of me, I can't remember the last time I felt so relaxed. Just what I needed after a tough few months. I returned to Lauren to have my hair cut and I was transformed into the most elegant looking version of myself I've ever seen. It was such a treat to have some much needed self care from a deeply caring team. I can't thank them enough for my beautiful haircut, as well as their kindness and care. If you're looking for a stylist and salon you won't regret choosing Lynn Isherwood Hair. Thanks again ladies. I'll be back soon!❤️

   I have recently had my hair done by Lynn and it feels so much better - what a transformation! My hair was in a bad condition and after an afternoon with all the lovely girls working their magic I feel like I have completely new hair! I love the colour, cut and condition my hair now feels. Big thank you and I would definitely recommend and be back! I also loved the new shampoo and conditioner I was recommended! :-) xx

   I can tell from previous reviews and from my visit to the salon, that this is a good salon. However, my own experience was far different. I was allocated a young and I believe, quite inexperienced stylist. I showed her three photographs of hairstyles, each were short but had modern styling to them, with length on top and sides. I explained I wanted a feminine style,discussed all three photos and asked which one would be best. We both agreed on a style which was really pretty. She then proceeded to cut my hair very short all over, even cutting my hair very short above my ears. I was horrified and questioned why she had done that. She then got the Manageress and I explained I was very unhappy, that this was not what I had asked for. She then got the trimmers and said she wanted to tidy up the ends on the neckline. This led to her almost shaving my head half way up the back. I was just horrified. She then went on to say that ' at least if there is a lockdown your hairstyle will last'. I am totally disgusted. I have had to go into work in school like this and it has caused me distress. I therefore will never return to this hairdressers. Their idea of a feminine, pretty style is a short back and sides. I have had my hair short for years and noone has ever cut it so severe and harsh. Yes, they reduced the bill to £20 but I'd have preferred to pay the full price for a nice pretty cut. Manageress did apologise, but even so.

   I had my first experience at lynn isherwoods to get my nails done and they are highly recommended! I felt comfortable and happy when I left the shop. The nail artist was so lovely and chatty. I will be returning for sure! X

   Been going to Lynn's for about 4 years now. I've never been unhappy. Always leave feeling pampered! The staff are amazing. Lynn has such a lovely nature and it shows as the team seem to work so well together and always compliment each other on each others work. Great team, great owner, great cuts. Well done ladies!
