   I have just visited Serenity for the first time for a cut & blow and will definitely be back! I was greeted warmly and treated with great care and Isabel has transformed my hair. She gave great advice and cut my hair beautifully, asking questions all the time to provide the very best service. I am 100% thrilled with my hair, very impressed with the price charged and not only that, I got the best cup of tea I’ve had in ages! I would not hesitate to recommend Serenity..a credit to your industry. Thank you so much, see you again soon.

   Had my belly and daith piercings by Geri at 8am this morning. Not only was I impressed by how quick and clean her skills are but being able to get done at 8am was brilliant for me. She put me at ease she is really calming and even offered me numbing if I was nervous. 100% recommend you get your piercings at Serenity Ormskirk

   So disappointed. Went to get my nails done as a birthday present, however, was told they wouldn’t be able to give me a normal pedicure as I was pregnant and said this could raise blood pressure and potentially start labour. Toe nails were quickly filed and cuticles weren’t cut back or tidied at all, the polish just slapped on, I left with more polish around my nails than on them.. toe nails were rough and jagged (ended up having to file and tidy my own nails at home which for the price was ridiculous) and after a shower, 2 nails had chipped off. The salon was super busy and I felt this was the result, rushed and poor quality. Having to go to another salon to get them redone.

   I walked in to Serenity today with no appointment, In hope they might have a space to do foils and a little cut. As expected they were fully booked. Sarah and Izzy went to make me an appointment. But I couldn’t do any other time before New Year’s Eve!! They very kindly squeezed me in right there and then! in between doing their other clients, that actually had made an appointment.. unlike myself! I’m not a regular client to them. But Sarah made the time and space to do my hair for me! And she did it amazing! I love it. I will definitely be coming back. And I would highly recommend Serenity Hair & Beauty Salon!!! Thank you. Very Very pleased with my experience today

   Unfortunately not had a good experience with the manager here. Went to get gel fingers and toes. Had a lovely experience with Stacey doing them, very chatty and nothing was too much bother. By the evening my gel had slightly chipped so thought I would message the salon the next day just explaining this. I then got a bath just over 24 hours later after having BIAB and gels on my fingers and every single one peeled off. I politely rang the following day explaining my situation and wondering whether it was my nails that were the issue because they were brittle. I was very happy to pay the difference between gel and acrylics as I had already paid for a service that had not lasted more than 24 hours. I rang the Salon and Geraldine answered and said she had not heard of that before but booked me an appointment that same day so she could have a look. I got to the salon and went upstairs where I was met by Geraldine who told me I MUST HAVE filed them or soaked them off because my nails were dry. She essentially called me a liar in front of another customer and then charged me another 30 pounds on top of the 25 pounds that I had paid for my fingers on the previous 2 days. I didn’t want to go further into this as I thought it very inappropriate and unprofessional of Geraldine to call me a liar in front of a customer. So I then messaged her privately explaining how I was unhappy with the service and that she had called me a liar in front of another customer. I was met with more accusations of lying and then was told I was harassing her and her salon because i was not happy with not getting a 'freebie' when in fact it was nothing to do with that it was the lack of service that was provided. She then went on to say she would go out of her way to contact all the salons in the area to tell them that gels 'don't stick' so don't do her nails. its a real shame as stacey was lovely

   Had a lovely time getting my ears pierced this morning! I was a bit nervous but the staff were friendly and polite and the service was efficient and I was on my way out under ten minutes. Lovely girls, nice and bright and clean salon. A++

   Geri and all the staff are absolutely great. They’ve done a fabulous job on my hair and nails and are just so friendly, welcoming and easy to get on with. As someone else has already highlighted you feel like you’ve really got to know each other after even just one appointment. Fab service. I’d highly recommend Serenity.

   I love this place! Geri and the girls are lovely and make you feel so welcome. By the end of my 1st appointment i felt like i had known Geri for years! I have beauty treatments done with Geri and Stacey and cannot fault them they are lovely ladies
